I clicked the like button because of the hilarious "get myself off" slip up, not cause the meat looked good, although it did look amazing. If you do the fruit thing again though, you should crumble or dip some hobnobs in it, like a makeshift crumble

A very nice camp dan, yes I have picked food off the forest floor and wiped the soil and leaves off and eaten it, as you say, the woods are cleaner than the streets, take a tarp to sit under so if it rains you can still stay dry and enjoy the woods for longer...atb...jeff.

Get steak on lad, those are beauts - as they say "cuts it's horns off and wipe it's arse and get it on t' fire", as my boss used to say. most of us look forward to cooking and eating outdoors so no worries there. Got my Water Filter today so will hopefully be trying that out next week.

Hey mate. Great video! Really enjoy your stuff. Every night spent outdoors is good for the soul, no matter how much sleep you get! I think you’re using the OEX Leviathan bag. How are you getting on with it? I’ve just bought one for the Autumn and Winter. Waiting for it to arrive. Just watching you sawing branches - one wee tip that my old fella passed on - a bit hard to describe. Watching you sawing them - you’re putting a branch underneath the right hand side of the branch you’re sawing and then holding the branch you’re cutting down with your left hand and cutting in the middle. That way the further you cut through, the pressure from your left hand pushes the 2 cut ends in towards each other and the saw can stick, or it gets harder to cut. If you move the supporting branch underneath to the left of your saw cut, and leave the right end free, it won’t stick so much when you cut. Even better if you put 2 branches underneath (like a table) and cut the loose end off to the right. Hope that makes sense. Keep it up mate!
