I know it would take time but somebody needs to collect them up and maybe donate them to a museum. What ever happens, this amazing collection which is clearly the life's work of one lady should not be left to decay or destroyed.

In every explore, there’s some treasure, that needs to be rescued. urban explorers have to protect not only themselves but protect the homes and contents of these amazing homes. I wonder, if there’s possibly a family dispute or a legal issue which restricts family from entering the property?

Those dolls are hand made and extremely valuable. I would guess they are worth well over 100.00 each and some of the more ornate are probably worth $600-800 each depending on where they were offered for sale. I know this because I make dolls similar to these for doll house collectors.

Guys, if you look up the address online, you might be able to find names of owners or those who lived there. Also, if you look at the bottom of some of the figurines, you might be able to see if the collection was from a particular artist or if the person who lived there actually made them. It would be wonderful if you could find a family member who could claim these treasures. Thaqnk you for sharing this with us.

I'll bet they could not pay taxes. Gov took it all. They don't care about your pictures or personal things. Or they passed away. Possibly trying to stay warm. When they shut off the heat to gain control of this country. Shots may have something to do with it. Maybe not.

Wow!! The collection of dolls is incredible! They look like historically accurate costumes representing every occupation in a certain period & place - whole villages of people! Amazing! I think they have almost all been made by one person - the style is so consistent. They are so amazing they could fill a museum by themselves! Thank you guys for another wonderful explore!

I confess that I still co-own my family home with my sister. It is way out in the country. Her career took her permanently to a city hours away from it and she only goes to check on it once or twice a year. I lived there until at age 69, when I moved across country, 2,000 miles away from it, to live with my only grown child and his family; and it has been 7 years since I was there. My sister has no children. We do pay a nearby neighbor to cut the grass and keep a working truck on the property so that it looks like someone is still living there. Life takes us away from our roots sometimes, like it did my sister and I. But we pay the taxes on our family property every year and, yes, there are cobwebs inside and it only gets a brief cleaning when my sister goes there a few days each year. . . . . .

The dolls are French Santon De Provence dolls, they are made from terracotta and fabric. They were never expensive, but such a large collection of them is still valuable. In cases when you see a home like this with everything left and food in the refrigerator an elderly person has been taken to the hospital or a rehabilitation nursing home and never come back. They think they are going to come back of course, but usually they don't.

Amazing diffinate doll creator, Plus she loved collecting props to go with dolls small tems like the animal figures to create vinyettes . And passed on the same love of collecting to her daughter. Maybe also the son, after serving in war came home as a grown man . Maybe he wanted a little more priacey. You know not to say he lived with his mother?.So he created place in barn garage area. I had sy her husband colected all bar thing bottles etc. Maybe when they traveled they would shop for the things they love. I as a doll creator am always searching for small figures to set with my dolls . Like cats and small dogs and miniture items. To craete the whole look . Theraults Doll Auction would sell those dolls in minute if they were in US. Loved seeing them .😍Thanks you guys hope you find what happened .

I have a feeling that she passed away inside a hospital and not at home, the boy in the wedding photo looks a lot like the three pictured in B&W...I don't think that she had anyone but a few close friends at the end of her life. Such a happy/sad home. What I mean is that you can see that she lived in a happy state but it is so sad that none of her friends came in and helped close down'out her home. Great explore! Looks like the dress of the dolls in the massive collection are actually miniature replicas of French folk costumes and dresses from the past as well as present. I noticed that the wedding photo you showed of the bridegroom in a red suit -- the wedding dress is a late 1970's, early 1980's design and burgundy-red jackets and suits were popular in the late 1970's, early 1980's. If this is a photo of their daughter or son's wedding, then their children are now in their late 70's, if they are still alive. Grandson would be in his 40's by now. Time flies. Looks like the farm land around the house and immediate yard is in use. Perhaps the grandson works the land and this house is not as abandoned as you think -- after all, you are coming on private property.

Woman with nice nacs always has a tooth brush in the kitchen for scrubbing in tight spaces, and decorations etc.. at the time of death is very immotional ...hard to decide what to do with a complete long life lived in one home. This was so interesting. Thank you for sharing with us. I had to clean out my mom’s home when she passed away. And then my young sister’s home and then my in-laws large home. It was heartbreaking. What I have observed is that many family members didn’t want anything and I believe didn’t want to deal with the loss and grief. I could not betray my family in that way. Many things we kept for memory sake, but donated many things to shelters for people in need and other charities. Unless everyone is dead, their things and photos, etc should be honored😞

Brillent video done with compassion. I think mum abd dad lived there and there son split up with his wife and moved back and into the other building then dad passed away then mum either passed or went in a home and the son just left it as it was and stayed living in the other building till he to passed. But who knows. The dolls are definitely lovely and show lots of traditional workers from around the world incorrect clothing thanks for this guys ❤❤❤
