When I was young and foolish, I loved exploring old abandoned buildings. I lived in a squat in England once. I love stories about haunted abandoned places.

I know this comment is just based on your videos but, you absolutely sound such a genuinely nice guy! I don’t think I know of anyone on this platform that sound just so, so kind and (once again) genuine. You put in so much hard work and seem like you really care and appreciate your followers. Anyway, sending best wishes and many thanks to you from Suffolk U.K. 🙏🏻👌🏻❤️🇬🇧

I, for one, love how you tell these stories! Your explanation at the end was heartwarming, the heart on your sleeve kind of admirable. Really enjoy your tone and naturalness.

Call yourself awkward if you want, however I personally feel that you are a gem. 💚 My favorite story was the 'haunted house' from Paul. That was freaky!

To clarify, the Stanley Hotel was NOT "used" in The Shinning. Steven King actually stayed at the Colorado Stanley Hotel. It was his inspiration for the novel and later, the movie. I believe the movie was filmed in Canada.

My dear sir-Iowa is located in the upper Midwest, one state adjacent to Minnesota which you should know abuts Canada

The inspiration for the Shining's hotel was the Stanley but the exterior shots were filmed at Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood outside of Portland, Oregon (which I suffer as a native of). Timberline is picturesque with superb winter sports... actually, that's true year round.
