To be wearing such an awful dress (Dior must be smoking something that day) to a super conservative country while pregnant wasn’t showing any respect to the country’s culture. Most of the clothes she wore were hideous. Was she wearing a bra? Didn’t look like it and the way the material covered her belly showing more than was necessary, it looked dreadful in the photos. Nothing about this gown was flattering. I believe if she was really pregnant she wouldn’t have chosen such a monstrosity to cover herself or not. The outfit is horrible. But the bump, I used to work in a hospital, close to the maternity ward, plus a couple of obgyn offices, so I saw lots of bumps. The baby will move around, which I remember from my own pregnancy. The most interesting bump I ever saw was when baby was curled up and sticking out the butt. Yes, a very obvious baby butt.

I truly believe her motivation for most of her fashion choices has been to be a “ground breaker.” Her first issue is that her mindset is not original, most people have already done the work of the topics she talks about, decades ago! The second issue is the lack of awareness of where she is at in society, she was a mediocre actress lucky to get a gig in a tv cable show, who was beyond fortunate to marry into one of the most famous royal dynasties to have existed, to then attempt to tarnish their reputation with no substance on her character to demonstrate true merit. She is currently an ex royal that cannot let go that she was a duchess for less than 2 years, yet she expects to have the perks of the elite lifestyle that is out of her and her husband’s budget. These two factors are never going to break the mould if she can’t even have the basics of understanding other perspectives. She’s finding out the hard way she is not all of that, and her immature side is not helping her case.

Like pretty much everyone here, I continue to be astounded that someone with so much money and resources at her disposal ends up in so many unflattering and often downright awful clothes. On the flip side, I've learned not to feel bad about clothes that don't look good on me, and just look for things that work for my curves. I've also gotten some new (fitted) bras and foundation garments. Game changers! Thank you for posting both the dishy stuff on Meghan and the fashion advice!

I think it was obvious from the beginning that she wasn't going to tow the 'royal line'. The sugar's call Catherine's style dumpy, frompy and old ladyish. I call it classic and timely. Beebs...this is a classic...as in what is classically terrible. She breaks the mold by wearing catastrophes. I refer to this Dior dress as the Hindenberg dirigible! I have never seen anything so embarrassingly revealing and UNFLATTERING. The really sad part is the cost of this dress along with the delusion that she looks magnificent. She seems to approach fashion by aiming to "upstage" everyone around her. It doesn't matter that she might 'outdo her hostess, the Queen, or someone of importance at the event, but then that would take grace and we know she is incapable of stooping that low. Grace is beneath her. The Dior dress is not as well known as "the RED DRESS", but it's gaining traction. You are so right about her baby bump, but her bazooms look like the chest of a chubby young boy going through puberty. I mean! How do you fit a bra to them? Lastly, I have to just come out and say it...what is going on with her legs? I don't want to get cruel and nasty, but she goes to such lengths to disguise the proportions. I believe that the queen told her to get in first because I believe the quote that the queen doesn't slide. It would be difficult and mess up the queens coat and not look graceful, if she were to slide over. I think it was just an awkward moment and I gave MM a pass for it, since it was early days. The aides should have walked Meghan around to the other side of the car. 😂

I don't think that neat and tidy would be Meghan's stong suit in any case. Women have different essences. For example, Catherine is a classic, like Grace Kelly. Neat and tidy are not only second nature to her, but grace and elegance, too. Meghan, on the other hand, is definitely not a classic type. I would say more bohemian/arty. She has a natural body type (the wide shoulders are a giveaway) and she has a hard time carrying off classic looks. I believe that she's a Wild Natural in Olga Brylinska's ethereal type system. Wild types are not neat types by nature. They are, well, wild. Windblown hair, rumpled, casual fabrics in earth tones, and a rebellious attitude. She **can** dress against her type, and has, successfully, but those instances are comparatively rare. It seems like as she gets older, dressing in classic clothes becomes more and more difficult for her. It just doesn't look right because it isn't her nature. She simply is groping in the dark, like someone trying to speak a language they aren't fluent in.

As a mum of two I can definitely say that I wear that badge of honour of giving birth, one was 8 pound 3 ounces and I had zero pain relief, my second child was 9pounds and again, zero pain relief. I’m not going to lie, I felt like a muma warrior after I bought each of my children into the world. To think my body grew two healthy children, my body then withstood the most intense pain I have ever experienced in my life, yet one second after they were out, that pain was forgotten because love took over (even when I was delivering my placenta, the pain didn’t worry me because I had just bought my child into the world, the love I felt outweighed that pain) Lastly, the joy and pride I felt watching each of my children thrive and grow while surviving purely on my breast milk that my body was producing for them. It was the most amazing feeling (my children are now 23 and 26 and those feelings of pride are still stamped into my mind and heart) If Meghan had given birth and experienced everything I have just listed (minus the pain relief, I believe she claimed to have had an epidural, plus minus the breast feeding too, if Meghan had produced her children milk herself Harry 100% would of mentioned that in his book, yet he didn’t say a word) she would of told the world her birth story over and over again with pride, yet, for the only time in her life, she was silent about it. We all know Meghan over shares, she would of over shared her birth experiences. I will never believe Meghan has carried either of those children, plus, until I see proven DNA testing from someone the Monarchy has supplied to conduct the tests, I will not even be convinced that Meghan’s eggs were used for the surrogacies either!! I’m so sorry, but, anyone who has had a baby (and isn’t blinded by just following Meghan out of some weird devotion towards her) will forever have doubts. Baby bumps do not flop around, you also can’t squat with you legs completely closed in your last trimester, it’s physics, it’s impossible!! Ps I’m a petite build and was fit during my pregnancies and still could squat closed legged and bounce up unaided from a squaring position. I call BS!!

Oh the pain. I wanted to die and as you shared, I completely forgot it after the birth. I was unable to breastfeed my 3 children but I tried and tried. At the point where they were getting no nutrients at all, I gave up and started formula. But they turned out quite healthy and I’m proud of them. We can be warriors of our births and I’m not sure Meghan can say that.

As for Meghan, if she used a surrogate or even flatout adopted, I wouldn’t care, sadly not all women are blessed with the honour of having their children themselves, it’s all the lies that make me so cranky. Clearly all she cares about is their titles or she wouldn’t of lied to the world about how her children came into the world, she knew if they didn’t come from her body that they wouldn’t be in the line of succession. I just don’t believe she gave birth to either of those children, there are way too many holes in both her and Harry’s stories and the physical evidence we all witness through photos and videos, she absolutely wore a moon bump!!

Think of having eight children (no multiple births) in thirteen years. Two around seven pounds, the other six weighing in at nine to ten pounds. My mother. Petite. Gained fifty pounds with each child and promptly lost it afterwards. She weighed less once she started having children and keeping house, than she did when my father and she married. She didn't talk about delivery or pregnancy because we were born in the forties, fifties, and early sixties and one didn't talk about such things. I wish she were here today, I am sure she would have some comments about this.

Hi Beebs, The set of pictures withe the Queen in the lovely green and Meghan has on the beige dress with whatever that is supposed to be over her chest/shoulders/black belt and pumps is truly a strange one. The whatever it is over her chest and shoulders reminds me of a toaster cover. It could be the cover for a giant toaster of toaster oven. I really don't recall, over the years, seeing any public figures less able to dress themselves than Meghan - leaving out pop stars, of course. On the "pregnancies", I have never and still do not believe Meghan was ever pregnant. There is just too much evidence to the contrary.

Trying in both cases to cover for the fact she is being ignored and trying to create an impression for the photo like she is chummy with them and talking with them when she is gesturing and talking to the air. For me, that (custom made? How?) maternity dress was vile. Her insane insistence on no underwear or poor underwear is mind boggling. Truly for her to appear bra less when pregnant in a dress where you can see her navel and, not just a hint of a nipple but the the full areolia - outrageous. The fabric was wrong - the lack of underwear was entirely her fault and unforgiveable. Thank you Beebs your summaries which make me feel (as a 56 year old woman) even more confident as a mum to 3 young daughters (2 still teenagers) - "can you sit down it that without exposing yourself?" There’s multiple “formal” royal occasions where she seems to think “formal” means evening. That first one is an example, all of her Trooping outfits, too. She’s wearing cocktail dresses, not formal daywear. Also, she’s not supposed to show her shoulders during day events, which the very wide boatnecks she loved so much did. All of which makes her look like the farmer’s daughter who married the lord’s son and has no clue about how things work in her new class & no one wanted to clue her in. I’m an American and she makes me feel so ashamed that she ha no idea about what types and kinds of bras to wear! Most of us.. our mothers or store fitters will help educate us! Here's my thoughts (as I sit here in my crappy housework outfit. Lol): 1. Whether or not she used a surrogate, I think she doesn't address it because she enjoys the controversy. It works in her favor either way. 2. In the outing with the Queen, she wore that cape dress as a fu because she got flak for the off the shoulder dress in a prior outing. No one should hair shame, but if it was that windy, even gathering her hair in a quick low ponytail would have been an improvement on the fly. Surely she or staff would carry a few emergency supplies. 3. When I used to coordinate costumes for theater, we would tell performers to find undergarments that matched their skin color, whether pale pink, beige, coffee, tan, chocolate, etc. "Nude" undergarments aren't "nude" unless they are close to your color. A lot of people think white is the "neutral" under clothes but it's so wrong. Matching your skin color means whatever you wear over the undergarments is going to have a consistent color to cover so undergarments don't stand out. That way you can still get coverage and support. Not everyone likes or will use pasties. 4. I think what annoys people about MM's fashion is that she COULD look awesome and should have the resources to do so. 5. Love your show Beebs!

In photos of her at home, at stables, riding her horse, etc., she wore mostly white, gray, beige, dusty blue. As a young queen, those were the main colors she wore even for photos.
