A House committee has voted to revoke the 2001 War Powers they granted to Bush. The committee vote was near unanimous; Democrats and Republicans. That's the first step in putting a leash on Trump.

The “recusal statement” is quite disturbing. He could not recuse himself either before or shortly after his appointment. “The Russia Investigation” had not happened yet. Sessions would have to be “clairvoyant” to recuse himself. We should not forget what initiated thee investigation from the start. It was the tweet about President Obama surveilling him. I am not a Democrat.

I take it, Bob Yo Bob, you are NOT an "amerikkkans"? If not, you have no clue as to how our voting system and electoral college work. Trump did not win the popular vote but won the Electoral College instead, which is why he's President ("emperor of yankeestan" as you so derisively put it). Americans voted for the candidate who said he would "change the system", that "Washington was corrupt", that "America isn't great. Make America Great Again". He represented, in a single candidate, the only one who could "get things done" the way the American people demanded. We "morons" as you call us, were deceived, pure and simple. If you purchased a glass of wine, for example, but found out after you bought it it was made with 50% diesel fuel and trace amounts of lead, you would feel deceived. To further the analogy, you would not to get a refund on that glass of wine for four years. So, Bob Yo Bob, I've noticed you have made pretty caustic remarks about our failing country in this thread, yet offer no ideas to help the situation. If you have something intelligent to say, I'm listening. And if you ARE an American citizen, stop whining and start calling and writing your representatives, express your outrage, attend town meetings, GET INVOLVED. It only takes a few minutes to sign an online petition, many of which are very effective at getting things changed. Also, every government office has a website. If you have a concern with the Attorney General, for example, you can write him directly by using the contact form on the DOJ's website.

Greg Mize: "We "morons" as you call us, were deceived, pure and simple." Yes, you were. Millions of us pointed this out to you at the time. Here's an intelligent suggestion for you: try and think a bit more carefully before casting your vote next time a clueless lunatic stands for office.
@Celisar1
@Celisar1 7 жыл бұрын
Greg Mize There is a lot of truth in what you write and I applaud your admittance that you made a mistake BUT: to have got tricked by Trump you must have been blind and deaf. I don't want to list again all the disgusting, sexist, etc., etc. things he said and did. I totally understand why and how much you wanted change but everyone in his right mind wants change for the *better* and it was as clear as the bright daylight on a summer day that Trump is a horrible person, a narcissist and a HABITUAL LIAR. Who believes a habitual liar?!? No one of all the people I know and have spoken to could believe how America could make such a disastrous choice. We all know about the electoral college system but the fact remains true that enough people- millions and millions of Americans- voted voluntarily for this horrible person to get him elected!

The fact that he confirmed that he saw this as a genuine threat towards him, absolutely confirms the veracity of the contents of the dossier, as otherwise it just wouldn't have been seen as a potential threat, to be leveraged against him at some point in the future? I read what he said about Mueller in the interview. You are making what he said much, much more coherent than it actually was. It was very, very disjointed and jumped from his "I barely know the guy strategy" he always uses (he claimed he might have sold a condo to a Russian, how was he to know, he does so many business dealings, from that he jumped to he had no property in Russia. I can't quote the whole piece verbatim, but in addition to being full of lies, it made little sense, and pretty much revealed guilt by very awkward attempts to change what Russian finance connections referred to. Same thing with his previous comments. All the reporters said that he said he'd testify under oath about his meeting with Comey, but he didn't say that. Instead, when asked if he would testify under oath, he said, "One Hundred percent." What the heck does that mean? And he immediately added, "I didn't say under oath." Even the reporters are getting confused talking to him because the reporter actually asked him a nonsense question. The reporter asked if Trump was willing to testify that Comey hadn't asked him to take an oath. We all know Comey didn't ask for an oath, so Trump denied the obvious. Trump's slippery, disjointed, word salad speech is something many reporters are ironing out and making seem more clear than it actually is. And it is disturbing for two reason: 1) as evidence of his disordered mental state. 2) He's so ambiguous it is difficult to prove it's a lie or a lack of clarity.

How is there nothing in Office that can put a stop to an acting President if there are noticeable mental issues? What if any actions are being taken to make this happen. I'm positive anyone can call on a Doctor and get the diagnosis of a mental disorder without he Doctor even talking face to face with him. How far does it have to go? He should have been out a long time ago just from the mental instability we and the world can see daily.

In this interview, President Trump clearly displays symptoms of ADHD. He needs to be prescribed the appropriate medication as soon as possible. ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, is a medical condition that affects how well someone can sit still, focus, and pay attention. People with ADHD have differences in the parts of their brains that control attention and activity. This means that they may have trouble focusing on some tasks and subjects.

Neurosyphilis is a disease of the coverings of the brain, the brain itself, or the spinal cord. It can occur in people with syphilis, especially if they are left untreated. Neurosyphilis is different from syphilis because it affects the nervous system, while syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease with different signs and symptoms.Asymptomatic neurosyphilis means that neurosyphilis is present, but the individual reports no symptoms and does not feel sick. Meningeal syphilis can occur between the first few weeks to the first few years of getting syphilis. form of neurosyphilis can occur within the first few months to several years after infection. Just as we celebrate the 4th of July, one day we will celebrate the Freedom From Traitor Trump Day. Parades, BBQs, the whole deal. We're just waiting for the date later this year.

Trump's statements make perfect sense. Sessions did not need to recuse himself. This led to Muller who is a good friend of Comey.

Trump's remarks are less indicative of his sanity than of his lack of understanding of that the job of the Attorney General is. Trump seems to think that the AG is the President's personal lawyer.

When you yourself know something to be the case but are keeping it from others then you really have to be careful that you don't inadvertently put your foot in it. If I steal something from you and then I later see you looking for that thing because you tell me you can't find it, if I ask "when was it stolen" then doesn't that suggest that I knew it was actually stolen and not just lost? When Trump states with regards to appointing Sessions as AG: “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else.” Yet isn't that basically a Freudian slip from Trump, in as much as that at the time he appointed Sessions, there was no investigation and the Trump campaign had apparently done nothing wrong, and so Sessions will at that time have had nothing to recuse himself for? Unless of course Trump at the time of appointing Sessions knew full well that his campaign had colluded with Russia, yet Sessions could only recuse himself later on, once the shit was about to hit the fan.

It kind of seems like Trump doesn't know what recusal means.

Very good points. It appears also that Trump, in putting his cabinet together, displays discontent with only those connected to the investigation. Everyone else seems to be holding down their jobs just fine. With the exception of Sean Spicer, who is meant to defend the administrations words and actions.
