No just a lack of functioning brain cells… the law trial is meant to encourage teams not to blast it down to the try line and create more contest for that kick off. With the law if you just kick as far as you can down territory they will just call mark and get a nice clear where as normally you’d usually carry and then clear it out. The just makes it quicker unless you have a brain dead moment and do what he did which is essentially cost you serif a good 30m… even if can’t kick well all you need is your 10 a bit deeper on the inside and bam you have a nice angle to send it past the 50 if you have a big boot. At no point what he did brought any benefit, on the contrary he created a shtty kick from a shtty angle

In the refs defence, Duhi ran directly into him, there was another Edinburgh player next to the ref and Duhi deliberately shoved the ref hard but didn't touch his own man. It was very cynical

Sun was low and in the longer shot you can see that Duhan runs around the Edinburgh prop obstructing his view of the ref. It definitely was not deliberate
