Let's be real for a moment, I'm a life-long cricket fan, to my core but reality is that Cricket can only survive on T20 leagues. T10 is too short, ODI is a bit long while test cricket is super long. For a new fan, who's just trying the game anew, Five days are too much, 8 hours as well, a 3 hour tournament can actually make it more popular. Bring the money, to keep the test cricket alive. ICC should really accept leagues as a necessary fuel for cricket, Like football leagues are in europe. So give six months to leagues, all around the world and six months to international matches. 3 for one day and 3 for test. Create a proper schedule ICC. You can't blame players for choosing a good pay day. T20 is the money, ODI is the tournament and Test is legacy. You fund the tournament and Test with money.

BCCI doesn't allow it cause it would devalue the IPL, if Indian players would play in other leagues, They might not get to play in IPL.
