Paul O’Sullivan: Once respected CEO Mike Lomas back in SA to ’fess up on R1.4bn Eskom fraud

Ace forensic investigator Paul O’Sullivan has landed another big fish in a six year investigation into a R1.4bn Eskom fraud. One of the key facilitators of the heist, former Group Five CEO Mike Lomas, today landed at OR Tambo after losing his case against extradition from the UK. Lomas’s return to SA will accelerate the State’s criminal trial against massive Eskom tender winner Tony Trindade of Tubular Construction and his internal accomplice, Kusile contract manager Frans Hlakudi. O’Sullivan spoke to BizNews editor Alec Hogg.

I remember when the money was going to be put for saving dolphins - whatever the cause in 2024- it would be interesting to know the status of all that money accounted for a every till. Great comment - I do recycle 100% - and we have recycle bins, but I still see packs of bags at each till ....one begs to know who gets that money

@dragonslayer125 we also recycle, but the problem is buying online. The complex l live in will only allow black plastic bags. They are huge, and with recycling, most in the bins are only 10% full. Total waste. I would love to know if any of the money even 1% has gone where it was meant to.

Our black bag is 10% of our recycle bag, so our relief is that we are not paying for bags, and hessequa recycling does really good here in Still Bay. IT is such a pleasure to drive and see how conscious the people here of being environmentally correct - and just on a last note ...... Green bags are available for garden refuse x 2 a week. Well done Paul We really appreciate your sterling dedicated hard work The failure of the South African Justice System after everyone's dedicated hard work will now rear it's ugly head All the criminals will now claim they are Medically Unfit and must be released as we have seen happen They then go on to live very active Lives Playing Golf, attending active Political Functions, travelling around the Country and Internationally, starting other Political Parties and they never seem to get sick or have relapses Justice could only be served when medical grounds are granted with prisoners being kept under house arrest in very modest Prison Estates similar to Low Cost Housing Complexs Sentences must be served otherwise Investigators will lose faith
