Zelensky is a puppet. The USA marched him and his country into a war with Ukrainians paying in blood. Now he can not stop it even if he wanted to. Being a comedian/lawyer is irrelevant. I suggest that, as a start, you look into the past and recent analysis on the Ukraine crisis by Prof. John Mearsheimer. He is probably abundantly accessible via KZbin. Zille and her foolish triangular analysis is vacuous and rather pathetic - she seeks to elevate the EFF (the scaremonger) and the DA (the saviour) against the anc (bumbling incompetent) to create a foolishly simplistic picture of South Africa and its complexities. None of these parties are necessarily where the RSA’s future lies. Political parties are chameleons and often passing structures, the DA is the classic example of that. She speak to the un-enquiring and unthinking. Those little personalisation anecdotes may have some go ahhhhh. To me its just egotistical claptrap.

@@martinsolomon2299 Thank you. Yes I read/watch a little bit of Mearsheimer as well as others like Fukuyama, Huntington and Sachs (David Sachs on Twitter). I may be wrong but I think Zille, in her way, is with those, including Peterson and Weinstein, advocating for a non-tribal (i.e. non-racial/class/cast, etc. ) liberal democracy where individual freedom, choice and speech trumps a virtuous tribal ideology (Marx/Verwoerd) and that Ukraine was drawn to the ideals of a liberal democracy but that Europe missed the opportunity to pull them in. I am sure many would disagree with that but I try to understand all the above people. I think Mearsheimer's view, because he predicted conflict in Ukraine, is just more prominent at the moment but that the final form of government for the world, if we do not self destruct, may still be some sort of liberal democracy with a strong dose of capitalism, as per Fukuyama, and a large safety net for those that need it or refuse to stop singing the praises of Marx. That being said, Yogi Berra said “In theory, there is no difference between practice and theory. In practice, there is.” and I maybe wrong , again. As far as Zille's triangle is concerned, maybe it is also a normal distribution with a left (i.e. racial/class/cast, etc. ), a right (i.e. non-racial/class/cast etc.) and an uncomfortable undecided majority in the middle whom you and I can help encourage to understand the above perspectives and make up their own mind as to why they are uncomfortable.
