I lived in Philly, USA, in the '70s. A rock journo. I went to Allentown, PA, to see SAHB. Spent the nt in the hotel bar w them. Slow danced w Alex. Incredible band and a sweet, sweet man. Miss him still. 2013

From Mustard to Tear Gas, I watched Zal grow to be this shockingly large part of SAHB, the face make up...the outfits...along with Chis C.....The boldness of SAHB was before its time.....Glasgow and music never ceases to be prominent in what took place then, what takes place today....The song just rides along with Alex just controlling the performance of the band.....priceless stuff

My friend Pete used to act out the part to "Man In the Jar" and sang every word through the entire song. (1974) Then we'd laugh our asses off. I can't think of any other song quite like that one.
