I didn't realize that light bloom is starting to trend in portraits until your videos. Honestly I think the 1/8th is actually ideal since the subtle effect is felt rather than seen. Something about the implication of light is quite powerful, although the 1/4th seems to do this in certain lighting conditions. Either way, I still really enjoy both your photos and the videos.

I never knew about BM filters until I went to film school and as soon as I saw the side by side comparison with and without the filter I have always wanted to own a filter of my own. Unfortunately after paying off my film school tuition it's been difficult to fund a lot of the photo and video gear that I want love, BM filters included! I've managed to do pretty well without them I just think having a 1/4 mist filter will elevate the quality of my work!

The 1/4 gives a nice balance to the image by keeping it still plenty sharp and adding in the intentionality of the pro mist filter. Seems definitely useful when you want that pro mist filter look but still want plenty of details. Great stuff!
