Awesome video, as always! I also like the 1/4 filter because the bloom effect is so subtle, which makes it more versatile to use in different situations

I've never tried filters before, but after watching this video, it's very interesting, it creates a new sensation in photography, if I had to choose, I'd prefer the 1/2 filter, looks dreamy, I hope I can try it, wish me luck😉. keep working kohki san, you are my role model.

Haha yeah this was my first into filters besides a CL filter. Its common in the film industry but I think it works just as good on photography :D Thanks for the support! and I will do my best to increase the volume of giveaways!

Love the 1/8th ! Its super subtle and stunning ! Highlights bloom but not as well as you're blooming ! Love the content ! Keep creating and inspiring!

I love the 1/8 black mist filter as it gives just that little bit of diffusion yet doesn't affect the sharpness of your portraits etc. too much.

I like 1/4 because it seems to be just in the middle. Your shot looks great in bright sunlight using the 1/4 and not have the highlights too blown.

Another awesome episode! If I wanted to choose I like how the 1/4 has that halo lighting effect. I would definitely use that as my main go to for those harsh light conditions! ありがとう!

I don't remeber the last time i was waiting impatiently for a video and then it's over so quickly. Can't wait for the next episode! The results from the shoot were really great. I also love the B-roll footage. And i have to say, even though i don't like the look of most filters, the black mist ones look really good. But maybe they just suit your style very well.

I personally liked the 1/4 one the most because the effect it produces is not too much or less. Seems like it would just be the right one for me to start photographing with black mist filters.

I like how the filters make the photos feel humid and summery. I’d probably use the 1/8 bc I like the it’s a lil more subtle. Beautiful shots!

I'm loving photography because of this guy! Learned so much from this channel. I personally love the black mist 1/4. It's a sweet spot for me. not too subtle and not too much. That dreamy look looks insane. It creates another vibe on a photo!

For environmental portrait, I use 1/8 only, but for portrait or close up shoot, I usually go from 1/2 to 1 full stops

Love your take on the 1/4. I like how there's milky and some light leaks effects, but not too overpowered, looks dreamy and cinematic somehow, just right for everyday photography. Your works always inspired me, thank you Kohki!

1/4 for suuuuure! Did a short film entirely with it on rokinon cine glass and the results were dreamy and beautiful. The grade on your video and pics really compliment the filter as well! Loving your content mate, keep it up 🙏🏻

Your photos literally make it seem like the way we view movies and cinema is the way reality really looks lol Would love to mess around with the 1/4 but I'm sure as with everything the other filters would come in handy for other situations. I didn't realize that light bloom is starting to trend in portraits until your videos. Honestly I think the 1/8th is actually ideal since the subtle effect is felt rather than seen. Something about the implication of light is quite powerful, although the 1/4th seems to do this in certain lighting conditions. Either way, I still really enjoy both your photos and the videos.

Tha Hakozaki set is absolutely nobe. Natchii is so cute. Great work man. The filters provide such a cool filmlike look to the portraits. I would probably use the Black Mist, since I'd like to spice up my shots and use less Lightroom and go SOOC.

I think I’d use the 1/4 since I like to be subtle but noticeable with the filter. Probably use it on my 70-200 as that is the only portrait lens I have. Like always awesome video! Would love to shoot with you one day :)

I never knew about BM filters until I went to film school and as soon as I saw the side by side comparison with and without the filter I have always wanted to own a filter of my own. Unfortunately after paying off my film school tuition it's been difficult to fund a lot of the photo and video gear that I want love, BM filters included! I've managed to do pretty well without them I just think having a 1/4 mist filter will elevate the quality of my work!

The 1/4 gives a nice balance to the image by keeping it still plenty sharp and adding in the intentionality of the pro mist filter. Seems definitely useful when you want that pro mist filter look but still want plenty of details. Great stuff!

Personally, I like the tone of the 1/8 filter. Somehow that's just fit in my mind. Wanna try that for portrait photo at the beach, and sunset ofc. Anyway thanks for your inspiring photos!

That 1/4 strength really does seem to be the sweet spot for these filters. The 1/2 has a cool eighties look to it though.

I always like tweaking the highlights and adding colors to it. I think the black mist filter 1/2 will give me a lot of room in adding colors to the highlights it makes while maintaining the subject sharp. Hopefully I win this one! 🧡
