It's so awesome to see you shoot the same model years later. There's a different vibe-a layer of new maturity and depth in how you create. Love this new season of your journey. Keep it up ✊

That was pretty awesome to see how you use the sunlight on your shots and really instructive to see how both of you are doing. Nice to see some Harajuku area, fun thing is, I'm actually editing photographies I've took there during my previous travel at Tokyo 😄 I hope you're enjoying you days in Japan and you're having a blast !

Nice shots! But as a retoucher myself, I think many of those images would highly benefit from a bit more heavy duty retouching. But subtle though. I bit of dodge & burn, both for evening out the skin and to give the image a general micro contrast and depth.
@patkay2 жыл бұрын
to each their own. i personally don't like a heavy-handed approach or a heavy-duty retouched look from both a looks perspective and a workflow perspective, but if that's what you enjoy then keep on keeping on 💪
@mouaadjaaidi50112 жыл бұрын
@@patkay the best retouching is the one that is unnoticable. I know what you have on your mind when you think about retouching... But no. Think more about classy magazines rather than amateur Instagram profiles.

Great video. Thanks for the content. Nice posing, shots, light and vibe. But some of those backgrounds…

As always love this episode, however something I’ve touched on with you is those presets you promote when showing your photos - you REALLY need before and after photos to show the quality of the presets. You said you’d try and implement if you could get the visuals right for your video - surely this is a fairly easy fix? Until you do the above, it’s impossible to say wether those presets you promote are actually going to change the images a great deal from their original format. Hopefully you take this constructively. Thanks
@patkay2 жыл бұрын
it's not that i can't do it, it's that i don't want to do it. doing before/afters makes the presentation too much about the edit, which i'm strongly against. in the balance of 80% the shot, 20% the edit, i think it's fine as it is. i'm not here to push my presets on you like everyone else does; im just showing you that they exist.
