Estimating you're about the same age as me (Too close for comfort). The Fall Guy. I talked to my brother a year ago before he passed. Remember when it wasn't just magnum p.i. and Charlie's Angel's. Simon & Simon, the P.I.s or whatever the heck they were supposed to be were everywhere. The Fall Guy, Hardcastle & McCormick. Then I said well if you remember those ('cause we did watch a lot of tv), remember Riptide. There had to be more. My elders turned tv on, otherwise I was 3 4 5,6 years old (born dec '74) Quincey (sort of similar vibe), Hart to Hart, Vegas (robert urich), Robert blake- beretta or baretta. There were older shows Rockford. McMillan, , cant list them all. everyone was a P.I. back then 70s , 80s !!😅

Those shows you mentioned completely took me back! Hardcastle and McCormick especially! I was in love with the car!!! I did skip the 70s only because It reminded me too much of my dad. I been around for many years, and I noticed the change in the late 80's,. Then I moved to a city that I thought was great,. A comfort zone, and didn't leave, turned into very bad things.. things went very wrong 23 years ago, in 1998 ..... and hasn't stopped since , forced to stop enjoying things , like going out of town. Haven't seen my home town in, I believe 17 years.. because of all of this, I have lost 2 best friends, one here and one in my home town, moved back East. I was never bad or evil over the years. In 1991 , or 1992, had an offer, I never should have refused, and suffer the consequences for 23 years. Moving to next video 👍👍

In 1979 or 1980, "B.J. and the Bear" and "Sheriff Lobo" were both filmed at The Dunes, in Las Vegas. I got a couple photos of Greg Evigan and me, with my pocket camera. He's 6'2", or 6'3". His cologne was nice; it was similar to Lagerfeld. A crew member carried a placard secretly, which had "B.J. AND THE BEAR" printed on it; which was placed on the dashboard of one of the vehicles or trucks, and gave it to me! He said quietly, "Don't tell anyone". (I didn't ask his name.) I bought a red & white Kenworth, "B.J. and Bear", toy truck at 'Toys R Us', back then. It's in its original packaging. I've kept the placard, toy truck, and couple photos. They're in my Storage unit. Fun memories.

I think "Total Control" is off his meds again. Sounds like a classic case of sociopathy.

Aye agree,44 years ago since this broadcast on Terrestrial TV,It's about time this came out on DVD,But it's the same old story ,The people who own the rights to it that make it annoying and Difficult to find ,Say like countries like the UK where I can't get TV shows like this or say Hunter from 1985 or Crazy like a fox to the rest of the Family Series The Littlest Hobo 😢The 21st century is rubbish to grow up in born back in 1973.

I grew up on the shows of that era. Happy Days was another one and I remember learning that Henry Winkler was afraid of motorcycles. He never really drove one except for the one seen they showed at the beginning of every episode. I wonder now if Greg Evigan actually knew how to drive a big rig.
@Headbanger4275 жыл бұрын
Henry Winkler didn't drive the motorcycle @ the beginning. That's why they never showed him up close riding it. His double was the 1 really riding the motorcycle @ the beginning.

@@Headbanger427 sounds correct. My memory is a little fuzzy. I think he managed enough courage to sit on it once.😜 But he was still plenty fun to watch.

Yes, Greg learned how to drive a Kenworth for the show.

Watched this show as an 8 year old in the late 70s. Was lying here in bed unable to sleep and remembered this show. "Hey, why don't I grab my phone and check out the intro?" I thought as I rolled over and reached for the phone. It was interesting remembering the song and the video....until he commits a crime with the cop and his car and pulls away after the cruiser smashes into him. Guess they will get him at the next weigh station

If I recall correctly that might have been Sheriff Lobo, who later got his own show.
