Another kind of polyphony - the minimalistic one in contrast to contrapunctic one of Bach. Fascinating. Sometimes a musician will combine both techniques. My ears are not trained enough, but I assume, that Prince carried out simular combination of both styles in his Lovesexy album for example. I do not know, but I assume ...

The sixth note of the intro doesn’t sound right. Is that how it is transcribed in the score?

Yess I noticed after rendering the video 😭 but no, I think I misclicked and put an F♮ insted of an E. That's because I added that bit at the last minute just to avoid the 12 seconds of awkward silence at the beginning.
