It matches so well, wow It gives the song a ethereal feel, but in a sense that makes you feel like the "anchor", the "home" she found was inside her all along, or that she found it in a more spiritual sense than a physical place. I loved it

Ive been listening to this for so long!! I love this rendition you made its so beautiful!! Wish she had sung this live. Another song i thought would be amazing is “possibly maybe” but vespertine, with microbeats!

La canción ancla 'ANCHOR SONG' fue escrita en el verano de 1990, cuando Bjork, dejó a su hijo "Sindri Eldon Þórsson" con una niñera por un tiempo y partió por Islandia en busca de "una cuestión de libertad"Anduvo en bicicleta por la isla con el expreso propósito de visitar los cientos de iglesias de las que había oído hablar. Dado que el cristianismo de Islandia se basa en una astuta cláusula de salida (la Asamblea Vikinga dijo que fingirían adorar a Jesús si pudieran permanecer paganos en silencio), los lugares religiosos que encontró Björk fueron los más salvajes. Muchos agricultores tenían estas pequeñas iglesias, como una sola habitación de madera del tamaño de un dormitorio, y están muy decoradas.
