Her voice is so pure and earnest and affecting, and the way she performs like a little girl putting on a show for her parents. I get choked up every time I watch her.

This is my favorite version. Her voice is so raw and delicate. So forceful and wonderful at the same time. I’m tearing up with every note

Well there's this thing called confidence, it's a big factor in how loud you can project your voice. Apparently she's got a lot of it.
@carljones280 Жыл бұрын
It helps when your voice is perfect. Lord knows I can't sing like that.

imagine if bjork was unsigned and unnoticed and started doing this in the living room of some get together you were at. you'd probably poop your pants.

what is expressive, is not only her amazing voice, but how magnific her arrangements are too. You can enter a really special atmosfere, for Unravel its like you're alone at home in a regular life and find yourself fearing losing your loved one or something. So intimate

@zombockerman11 ай бұрын
Thom yorkes version is pretty good
@danzargy3 ай бұрын
@@zombockermanit's a subdued take, but it's good, wouldn't say it's special or anything though. I'm a big fan Thom's work in any capacity, I just think what they did in the Thumbs Down performance could've been better. Thom could belt it out then, he was in his prime, both vocally and physically, but he held back, which was probably an intentional choice.
@cragerzz14 күн бұрын
I like Thom hes a bit of a musical genius himself. Didnt he say this is the most beautiful so ever written? I think to truly experience it you must listen to every word

No. ¡Bjork!

The Beatles son realmente unos revolucionarios de la música, al igual que Björk ¿Por qué no hablar de los dos en lugar de sólo Björk o solo The Beatles?

Homogenic ..my favorites LP of Bjork. Ona ma gigantyczny talent.Piękny oryginalny głos,czasem brzmiący jak u małej dziewczynki.Technicznie znakomity warsztat wokalny.Ichociaz jestem miłośnikiem od dziecka rocka, bluesa , RnR, reggae etc...to uwielbiam tą piękną i bardzo utalentowana kobieta...Dzięki za udostępnienie tego video... This is so good it melts me. At first I was like, aw, Bjork's voice isn't as good. Then I realized it's just reverb-less, and I'm used to the produced stuff on the album. I got used to it, and was able to bask fully in the natural resonance of her voice. She uses the room for reverb, anyway, if you'll notice.

She had a flue and it effected her voice ofcorse during the Voltatour, I mean the studio album Volta vocal efforts are good. But as Björk said herself, she could have put more time on that project, but she was hungry for touring so she didn't.

well i love bjork everything she does, but volta tour is the last one of my fave bjork tours, not because of her voice, she is always amazing, it was because the melodies changed =(, i think its cool she changes and dont repeat stuff, but i like the most vespertine tour and greatest hits tour
