Up on the toe, there is a view. Bjork uses body images to evoke feelings. Teeth, arteries, lungs, mouths, feet, hair. Regina, Mouth's Cradle and Army of Me all use teeth in their stories. This song makes me feel like I'm in "The Third Man" when I listen to it. Like a dream I keep having of big, foreboding, ominous clouds of gray shadows blowing over my sky.

Brilliantly edited, if I didn't know any better I would have mistaken it for an official video! Not just because the footage was directed by Andrew Thomas Huang (Mutual Core), but that the imagery and the way it is handled and edited with this song fits so perfectly in the realm of Bjӧrk and her visions for her audiovisuals. I hope Bjӧrk has seen this, I think she would be very proud!

Thank You for your comment. Many of the videos I edit require many hours of editing but for this one, that wasn't the case. I couldn't believe how well the images matched up for the song, even having a beach location for for the sound of the ocean waves, heard at the beginning of 'Vertebrae By Vertebrae.' I'm not sure if Bjӧrk has seen this video but I know she has seen the video I put up for her instrumental song, 'Batabid.' I know this because she shared my video on her Facebook, G+ and twitter account. Here's what she wrote on her post:( youtube user 'bjorksmusic' has uploaded the 'pagan poetry' b-side 'batabid' with this INCREDIBLE brand new video . . . watch and rejoice. Björk) I make no money from the videos I upload. All my videos that have Björk's songs, have been monetized by her record company. So Bjork is receiving money from my videos, which makes me happy :) Even the videos I have that are not protected by copyright, I have not monetized. I refuse to make money off of Björk. Yes, it must have been destined for this. Something I forgot to mention to you, you know how you thought the sound of the waves was from the visuals? There is one video were the sound of a falling tree was added by me from the visuals. It happened accidentally, during editing I left the audio on without knowing at the beginning of the song and then the sound from the visuals stops. I didn't find out about this until after the editing was completed, when I was reviewing the finished video. I'ts the video for 'Aurora.' I was about to remove the sound but I kept playing the song over and over. It sounded so good paired with the song that I decided to leave it in the video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2WUqnp7ZpyBedk In the video at 2:56 Bjork sings "Fill the mouth with snow," exactly as one of the characters places a snowflake in his mouth.

I saw the outdoors show in Montreal, and she sang it as the Encore, I was so happy to jump up and down, and I like to think that she knew that Québec is a province that has always had politics of becoming independent from Canada as part of it's history!
