Yeah, interesting concept. It certainly seems a bit more complicated than the 'slowed + reverb" kind of edits strewn across KZbin. It's super trippy, like how it would sound if I was slipping into a k-hole or the nangs equivalent of a k-hole. It's actually kinda fun to keep on in the background while I do other stuff.

Have you modified the process at all from your first drones to later ones? I've only heard three,so far, so it's not fueled by any perceived observations,yet... just curious. I live by a major street, so listening to this and the newer Radiohead a couple nights this week helped smooth traffic sounds out, without becoming a rhythm distraction itself...

The drone versions aren't meant to replace the originals. I'd wager most of the people who listen to these do so under entirely different circumstances/for another purpose than the originals, like drawing or sleeping.
