I once again googled this, there was something familiar about the chorus. For all those who would like to know.. Ga Sion, din Konoug att mota: means... ( Go to Zion your King to meet) from Psalm : 9. Composers, Erik Nystrom, James McGranaham. Thank you for sharing all the different Christmas songs in the Swedish culture. 🎄

Hey, my pleasure! thanks for helping out with the info :) It borrows quite a bit from the hymn "Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice", not sure how well known that hymn is in the English speaking countries. Edit: I think the melody is the same actually? The lyrics in the chorus are more or less a direct translation.

@@SADLOOKINMOON ... You're welcome, but you have already done all the hard work. I look it up and my thoughts are, "I might as well share." That's why that refrain sounded so familiar. "Be Glad in the Lord, and Rejoice." Is popular in the English speaking. When I listened to the hymn "Be Glad in the Lord, and Rejoice" and went back and listened to Ga Sion, din Konung att mota... they sounded very much alike, especially the refrain.
