Love how they made the “I hear you call” fit better in the rhythm than the original “I hear you calling”.

As an answer to Erasure's Abba-esque, this song was launched as a kind of parody - but it ended in the greatest tribute song and video ever made. Every harmony, every move and scene setting is perfect - I guess so many could be convinced that the erasure song is a cover of a 70's ABBA-Song. Awesome.

The lyric writing for both bands was brilliant. Erasure was an evolution of the Abba sound with some new tech added.

This is absolutely perfectly done. I mean it just couldn't have been any better. What a truly wonderful tribute to Erasure and ABBA actually. Bjorn Again, the original 4, were just superb. They should be proud they were the original and best tribute and made a lot of people smile and dance. I salute them.

I know this is a year late but the reason behind this track... well after Erasure released "Abba-esque" with it's parody video this double A-side single was BjornAgain's reply - the two songs covered? "Have a little respect" and "Stop"!

Insanely brilliant. Didn't get the recognition it deserved at the time when Erasure's Abba-esque EP was number one for six weeks in the early 90s. They brought this out as a tongue-in-cheek response but in truth it's brilliantly observed. The vocals, video, piano, harmonies, Swedish twang to the lyrics...everything is just perfect. I'd love to know what the Erasure boys made of it. Ironically it's way better than their own version IMHO. A masterpiece!

I don't know where to start but loooove this song Why is it people to think its ok to mess with someone's emotions because they can when all you want is respect, loved for being you and most of treasured like you'd want your parents to be treated Just a simple thing, money, fame etc definitely not on my list love is worth so much more, its god damm free like nature is Anyway if anyone male or female are suffering with their emotions and well being, keep going and if someone knows or thinks someone is because you can't always tell pass their smile, go and sit with them and ask outright, mental health cannot always be seen, keep safe and show some love ❤️💯
