Yes all of us who were BJ Thomas fans miss him dearly! I grew up going to see BJ when he was the singer for the Triumphs when they played in East Bernard, Texas in the Riverside Hall! Gosh these were some great times! BJ was just five years older than me & it was an exciting time for me! I had school mates whose boyfriends & a brother who was in this band! These are memories I will never forget! The news of BJ’s passing was a shock to all of us who listen & dance to his music growing up! May You Rest In Peace BJ you will never be forgotten 🙏♥️💯😎

I remember listening to him while growing up in the 60-70's, such a amazing man with a great voice! Glad he mentioned Elvis, I met him once before he died, my parents promoted music during the 70's and 80's, Elvis Presley requested a meeting with my family, he gave our dad a autographed silk scarf thanking us for promoting music during the 70's! WE have videos and photos we hope to share someday.

I met him in the late eighties. Got pics. He was so sweet. He had the patience of a saint that night. Someone was trying to force a drink down his throught. (Thinking it was nice. Not to be mean) Thomas said no many times. He sounded even better live. He at the time was the only person I wanted to meet. His songs were my lullaby as a child.

Hello my name is Dwight first times I had heard BJ Thomas I like him immediately when I was 11 to 15 years old I'm now 61 still looking up online and hear some of his songs recently I did and found out the man was still living I'm awestruck because I heard a rumor like 30 years ago that he was dead I thought he had died of some kind of illness now I know why there must have been a rumor going around because of his personal things and did almost died I just saw the Marie Osmond show on Hallmark online here and fine and low and behold find out he is okay and doing fine I'm very pleased about it God bless the man BJ thanks for a much BJ for sticking around one of my favorite recordings of BJ Thomas is when he sang Amazing Grace somewhere around 1979 so I listen to that from time to time online keep on going BJ thanks very much

I always watch the Donny and Marie show. Wholesome TV for family. And to this day the Osmonds are a legend. And they are fantastic performers. I recognize Mr. Thomas had so many hits and everyone if they step back will of heard his songs sung by someone. The fact is B.J. Thomas without EXCEPTION was and is one of the greatest songwriters of all TIME. The REAL deal, hence why his songs resonate with so many.
