Do you use the watercolor pencils wetted down or dry?

Hi Erica! I use them dry mostly! Sometimes if I want to get a lipliner when I do a makeup look, I may wet the tip of one to do a lipliner, (occasionally) but mostly I use them dry, and the finer and more sharpened the tip of the pencil, the better! Thanks for watching!💖💖💖

How does the pastels stick? Wouldnt they just brush off?

Lily L Hi Lily, no, you have to spray a couple layers of MSC, or what ever Matt sealant you prefer, and that allows the pastels to cling to the surface. After your finished, you spray another layer or two of sealant on the face and that locks all the colors in place. That way they don’t rub off. I thought I explained it in the video, but this video is about 3 years old and I don’t remember if I explained it correctly or not. I’m Sorry if I didn’t... I’ll have to rewatch the video.😆 Thanks for watching!💖

Hi! Sure, there are a few non toxic sealants you can try, one that comes to mind is the Mod Podge sealant in the matte finish ... I’ve never tried it but here is the link! www.amazon.com/Mod-Podge-1469-Acrylic-Sealer/dp/B003VY9DNM

iLeana Perez Hi iLeana, I’m not taking commissions at the moment, but I’m sure there are lots of BJD faceup artists on Etsy that are... just search for BJD faceup artists on Etsy and quite a few will pop up... most will have photos of their work so that you can see what style your wanting. Another question- why watercolor pencils instead of regular ones? I see lots of doll artist use only watercolor pencils

Hi Lily! There are actually a few reasons why watercolor pencils are preferred, but the main reason i prefer them is the hardness. They are much harder and therefore easier to work with, and draw on resin while still keeping their sharpness. Hope that helps!

Britiny1000 LOL, you make it sound like I abuse my dolls! 😄😄😄 she slipped out of my hand because I turned her around using one hand while the other hand held the camera. I felt her feet slipping from underneath her because of the slick counter top and I was trying to grip her to prevent her from falling but .... you saw what happened!😂😂😂😂. LOVE ya britiny! Ola Khomenok the mask is called the Niosh OV P95 and it already comes with filters in it... I purchased it on amazon.com .... hope that helps💗
