My guys compete in local comps, normally sub only. They always do well.

Not a fan of ibjjf either after being part of Gracie barra which does teach self defense in the beginners curriculum it is a good school when lots of others don't even do that but I switch to a Royce Gracie school and I like it align much better with it Gracie combatives are there to

Did you choke someone out at Paisanos Pizza? I remember eating there with Beau Hershberger and John Marsh back in the day and they were talking about a Ryan choking someone out.

😂 I was the only Ryan there for a bunch of years, but I don’t recall that event… there’s a lot I don’t remember these days… I’m thinking it had to be another Ryan.

As the market grows, it’ll continue to segment. It is what it is. But if a new segment gets someone to join, then it’s all good!

@@KamaJiuJitsu I train no gi maybe like 1 time a week but mostly gi im 35 years old do u think jiu jitsu will become like judo and lose its fight identity and just be sport I first saw jiu jitsu relson gracie in maxersie in Philly deff diff then today

NoGi is basically submission grappling at this point
