Hi prof silver fox🙂 dont know if you will read this but if you do can you tell me what to do if the guy grabs his or your arm with his free hand and holds it tight to prevent you from flarring up the elbow?

This duo has been such a big part of my game. I’ve hit moves in tournaments from what I watched 6 years ago. Pure gold

We need to document everything Karel knows about BJJ somewhere. He's the best.

Firas kept unknowingly subbing the poor guy. His face says it all lmao . Obviously not on purpose but, as a guy with bad shoulders, that looked torturous

Amazing technique, but more importantly what an amazing instructor. I hope I'm training like Fox when I'm his age.

I had priviledge, that the Fox did this on me in seminar in little Eastern Europe town. He comes here to teach every year!

I'll call that sequence the "F-Bomb" (for Fox and Firas).

I've been using this after watching the video and it has completely changed my back game. My submission rate is much higher now and I rarely lose the position. Thanks!
@PatrickMartinez1 Жыл бұрын
This was absolutely incredible. I have a competition coming up, and I keep failing to get the sub or maintain control when I take the back. I'm going to start using this technique for sure.

This style of back control reminds me of what a girl at my gym does. I need to show her this video because it looks like a couple details would dramatically help her. Really love this video!
🌟🌟💯💯🙏🙏thank you, incredible strategy, unexpected by the opponent

totally curious just on how much age effects the ability is if they both went live would firas have to go hundred percent to stop fox or would he be able to flow more

I can go pretty fast (due to efficiency of movement) but endurance can be a factor. I can go hard & fast about 20 mins straight, then need to either do rounds or slow down intensity.

So I’ve been playing around with this and I’m really struggling with maintaining that elbow flare. I can hold it temporarily but it’s a struggle especially against decently strong guys. Granted it’s impossible for you to diagnose what I might be doing wrong but do you have any general pointers?
@PatrickMartinez1 Жыл бұрын
I would double check where your feet and legs are, because it's not just the elbow flare that's keeping them in place, it's everything he's doing all at once.
@SilverFoxBJJ Жыл бұрын
Yes, as Patrick said, the leg squeeze helps make the arm weak.

I feel like coach Firaz is training islam rn to fight volk, i remember him saying he'd love to train him for the next fight and would certainly correct the mistakes he made and make him a sharper fighter, hope thats whats up cause he seems to not be active in social media after the announcement was made

Another masterpiece from Karel Pravec. Though, credit where credit is due, the position he is showing looks remarkably similar to what Rener Gracie was showing a decade ago here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/laSrao2Pg51nmcU

Oss, everyone who ever demonstrates "classic" back control, be it Firas, Dananaher, or whoever, looks completely "unathletic" to me. This feels much better.
