Gary showed “the wedge” years ago and I’ve escaped hundreds of locked triangles with it. 👌🤙🍻 don’t forget there’s a Boston Crab option off this 🍀🦀👍

Lovely technique also Garry is great at changing his appearance every time I see him it seems like he has a new look.

Garry is evading the police. Tonon, not Danager, is the true bay area serial killer.

Crazy position. Garry Tonon seems like a good teacher. Thanks for sharing!

The ending is gold. I always saw the fall-to-butt as a hail mary. If it failed, I was done. Not anymore!!!! I'll be volontarily jumping into triangles tomorrow 😎

@@Nemesis_xo Oh wow thanks for the reminder. I've used the "getting knees in tight" but forgot to fight for the inside space with my feet. OK friday sparring in 44 minutes. Off to try it haha

putting Gary in a proper locked triangle woulda been nice
@ronmka8931 Жыл бұрын
if you are in a fully locked triangle, you've already lost. Same with escaping a fully locked in rear naked choke.

Once you are on your butt and before you can get your legs crossed over his chest can't he just arch his back push you straight back with his hips to come up into a mounted triangle? It would look kind of like a hip bump, but going straight forward. He would puts his hands on the mat above his head and drives his hips up and forward then sits yp into mounted triangle as you fall down backwards. Have you encountered this? Thanks

curious if anyone has recommendations for how to keep the uke from underhooking the leg when you stand and tightening the triangle way up/finishing?
@deathofaclown2 жыл бұрын
look at Keenan Cornelius triangle escape , it's a good option
@MMAELO2 жыл бұрын
This is 2 years old but Danaher shows the same escape and says to stand up with the leg on the trapped arm side first (in this case Garry's right leg) since it's the opposite leg they want to hook.
@mxu1113 жыл бұрын
Ok, will try this one. I'm much smaller than those w/ long legs who are usually the ones who do the triangle on me.
