So glad to see you! Happy New Year! :) Several weeks ago I challenged myself every night when I am choosing my outfit for the next day to pick something in my closet that I haven't worn yet or haven't worn in a really long time. It is working great!

I am glad to have you back! I am inspired to edit down my own closet. I definitely hear you on the pieces that you have a hard day in or that didn't make you feel good. I have some objectively great stuff that I feel guilty getting rid of but I don't want to wear them anymore, for that reason. So I should just do it.

And I did the hanger switch last year too, and it has changed my life! Those velvet black hangers are amaaaaazing.

The cream floral is so dreamy. You are so inspiring. You are helping me have fun with my clothes again. Haven't thrifted in years but planning a good will trip after Thanksgiving. I would put boots with boots in the no rack area, heels and sandals in racks. I also have a " what I'm wearing now" shoe section. You're brilliant and fun!

Beth, I felt what you said about clothes having certain vibes whenever you wore it last, and how the vibes may or may not be good when hanging onto things. Welcome back Beth! Happy New Year! :-) Love these kinds of videos, although I just am no good at letting go of my clothes. I also think that it is because I do not have the opportunity to thrift like you guys in the States as there are no such places here, so most of my vintage pieces are either from my mom or from my travels and I get too attached to them!! but who am I kidding I get attached to the new pieces too ha ha ha love the tips of thinking about clothes in a different category/way, that happened to me too, to switch the way I was thinking of something and discover I would then wear it more! xxx

Those velvet hangers are great, I've used them for years. They are great for delicate items, garments are less likely to slip off and as they are so slim they take up less space.

I agree so much with what you said about getting rid of pieces that have made you feel bad or weird wearing them. It happens to me from time to time where I will literally feel ugly all day because I'm wearing something that just doesn't fit or feel right. I'm going to go through my closet with that in mind!

I stroked out a little bit when you held up MY velvet suit (that you are never selling...) but then you said you were willing to let go of the JPG overalls and I thought; "Oohooh she will never let go of those" but then..... So I rushed to Depop. Alas, I was too late. Let me suggest something, take the dirty clothes hamper somewhere else practical but out of your closet, you might have more space for your display, or even more space between garments.

Totally enjoyed video. I had to remember that you are in a warm state and don't get the winters like some of your subscribers experience. Hi! I'm doing this also to my wardrobe from time to time because I want to always maintain more or less the same number. I'm usually using Konmari method :-) I'm a lover of vintage and my wardrobe contains this kind of clothes. Now I'm finally pregnant (yupii!!) and I find bit difficult to dress vintage while pregnant especially now in winter :-( for summer it will be easy with dresses but now it is bit of a challenge. Maybe a video about pregnancy vintage style for different seasons?? Edit: I'm not a pants girl. Even before pregnancy I wore my 2 pairs of vintage denim 1 a month. Living in dresses and skirts all my life! ;-)

Lol yes throw that floral dress with the collar out! I did, in 1998. I used to have that same dress. I've never seen any of your videos, but I had so much fun watching this one. I just cleared out my entire wardrobe too. I severed all those things I never wore like a gangrenous limb 😁. Now I can focus on doing what I need to do before I'm too old and that's to dress up and look fly.
