Your mom on the electric scooter carrying a 5-gallon bucket in one hand is absolutely epic. What a legend! Thanks for sharing this with us, it's nice that your channel has some real life mixed into it. This makes it relatable and so much less sterile than so many other review channels. Keep up the great work, and say hi to mom for me - she has a beautiful place there!

In your words Bjorn: Your mom is a BOSS!!! Seriously impressive how active, fit and strong she is at her age. Heck, I reckon most 50-60yo moms in Europe are far less capable than your mom is. Must be the amazing Asian country side living, which to me sounds and looks like a dream. Much better than Europe.

The banana plant is not a tree, it's a herb ( In Norwegian it belongs to what we call a "staude") The bananas themselves, are also (in botanical therms) not fruits, but berries.

Wouldn't washing detergent chemicals be absorbed into the banana tree and eventually presented into the fruit?
@firstprib77422 күн бұрын
Commercial laundries process their waste water and the end product is used to water plants. Its a multi step process. I am not familiar with the whole process but you can google it.
@1samm12 күн бұрын
There's biological (like nuts) and biodegradable detergents - maybe she uses one of those
@jinny7Күн бұрын
@firstprib7742 right, but surely not plants for human consumption?
@firstprib7742Күн бұрын
@@jinny7 well at one commercial laundry our co owns, the treated waste water is used for watering banana trees that I've eaten before. It is good question whether the banana contains harmful chemicals. I admit I haven't thought of it before.

We had a brilliant holiday in Thailand just before COVID hit, with a stay in Bangkok (which was bonkers) a trip to visit family on Koh Samui and then we flew up to Chiang Mai. While we were there we visited the area south of where your Mum lives, it was such a stunning place with amazing wildlife. Also lots of insects! The Thai people were so friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. Well, mostly amazing, I think some street food I had in Chiang Mai disagreed with me, but it’s all part of the story.
