Thank you so much for these videos. I just took the FE exam last weekend and I passed! All I did to prepare for the exam was view your videos.

CONGRATULATIONS Manual!!!! You have no idea how this just made my day. I am super happy for you. Maybe you can share your experiences with the folks that haven't taken it yet. Any tips? hardest questions? Good job!

Raiya Energy Yeah, I will spread the word for sure! I got a lot of questions of Control Systems and Telecom. Maybe more examples about Bode plots, Laplace transform, Convolution and modulation/demodulation theory (for example what is the best way to demodulate PCM) will help other viewers.

Hey I took the practice exam from NCEES website and my score was 45/50 questions. What are my chances of passing the real test?
@manuctz10 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't be worried about it. You will definitely pass it. I took the practice exam and got 35/50. Then I watch all these videos, took the exam and pass it.

Hi Raiya, thank you for the videos. However, I believe Vce=Vc-Ve. We shouldn't minus the Vbe.

In order to obtain Vb by applying the potential divider relationship, Ib has to be zero, (that is the base of the BJT has to be disconnected from the divider) otherwise you should not. And if you assume that Ib is zero, then Ic will be zero as well. So i think the first assumption should be that the BJT is in saturation mode. in that case VC will be approximately equal to VE and you can then resolve the problem from there. I agree with everything else (every other video so far) but i don't quite agree with this answer :)

One thing Raiya is not considering here is adding an equivalent resistor (16K) in series with base after using the voltage divider. Can someone correct if I am mistaken? This would matter what they are asking and how far the answers are apart. I know it's going to be a very small drop as the base current is in microamps.

Hello Raiya, can you elaborate on why Vc is not the same voltage as the voltage across the 4k resistor? I was thinking that, because Ve and Vb were the voltages across their respective resistors? So I basically did not subtract 4 from 10 the first time and just put 4 V as the answer. Thanks!

Are you trying to make these vids without learning about transistors? That's not good things work. This video is very time consuming, a learned man would solve these problems every 2 minutes. You are ten times slower.
