Thank you for modeling the bag. It really helped to get a better idea of the size of the bags. The GM didn't look all that big until you modeled it. Now I know I prefer the MM.

While I love my Neverfull GM, I had to take it back to Louis Vuitton within a few months as the handles and the base of the handles where they attach shredded, cracked and peeled. When I took it back to Louis Vuitton, at first they were going to make me pay for repair. I was able to show my receipt and had to be firm before they agreed to replace the handles. Within a few months of that the lining of the pocket totally shredded. I decided to live with that. I use it a lot and test its name so it was no surprise that the base lost its firmness. I just saw that Etsy has a base shaper that I am going to try. What is disappointing is that I have some Louis Vuitton purses that are at least 25-30 years old that have held up better than the newer ones.

Just had just stopped watching another person doing a comparison of the same two bags and she talked very little about the MM because her preference was the GM. She didn't cinch in the MM because she doesn't like it that way. So thank you for doing both bags equal justice.

I’m getting my first LV for my 30th birthday in a few weeks. I’m going with the GM because I feel I can get a lot of use out of it because of its size (which helps me justify the price). I like the Damier style for sure. Question...is your MK bag would you say the same size of the LV MM? The GM seems a bit bigger then I want but I can't totally tell. I love this review because I've been considering this bag, but am concerned about the straps digging into my shoulders. I'm not sure if I'd use it that much because of this reason & also because of the straps cracking. For these reasons I'm considering buying this bag preloved. Very informative. I'm 5'and thought about the DE NF GM for travel but way to big. My Total PM was too small. So I'm going with the DE NF MM. It's just the cracking of the handle and piping that I'm afraid of. We pay so much money, they should make the leather a little pliable. How is your MK handles and piping holding up?

The MK totes are all perfect, no issues. I store my NF hanging and I avoid bending the handles when I use it. The NF GM developed wrinkling on the handles after travel and having to stuff it under the seat ;(

They are very close. The advantage (for me) would go to the Marylebone as an everyday bag because of the handles. The DE NF is susceptible to cracking when you bend the handles. So for me, it rules it out as an everyday bag since I cannot secure the bag in a locker without bending the handles. The Marylebone handles are more pliable and thus far do not seem to be prone to cracking despite bending. JMO :)

Hi, I really love your reviews and I just recently purchased my first LV purse - the neverfull MM in Damier Ebene from the LV store. And upon closer inspection, I noticed that the brass hardware clasp and the ring it attaches too do not seem to have the same shade of 'gold,' I saw your review on the Speedy B Damier Ebene and you mentioned this same issue with that purse. I wonder if this is common for most of the Damier Ebene print (that the hardware doesnt match in color)? It's not really that obvious but upon closer look, I can definitely tell - one is a little more light golden yellow than the actual clasp which has a more golden tint on it. Thanks! I do not know if this is common for the Damier ebene canvas. It is likely that LV gets those parts from two different suppliers and thus they do not match. If you have to look closely to see, it would not bother me, Just my opinion. LV is getting farther and farther away from very strict quality control, so I suspect we may continue to see such differrences.

I can tell that this is the real one, since it seems so stiff as well. So many fake ones are on the market. I also did not know that, it was made from canvas.. I thought it was leather, or treated leather... So surprised ! This does change my estimation of the bag. For the price that it is now. For an entry level bag, then yes... But now, I am not too sure. I also do think that it is a great starter bag, wanting and needing to carry a lot of things. But these days, I have shrank my bag, to something that I can manage. I used to carry around 2 laptops.. and more. So around 3-4 Kg is normal for me. These days, I cannot do that any more. But this is so tempting.... I can see the MM being a lot smaller in size.
