not a lot of legit mma or kickboxing gyms in Lebanon ( the country ) so being able to get the basics from a champ like you is just amazing, keep it up and many thanks.

Too many people think that they need to hit hard or be super fast to be successful as a fighter. Joe won the Glory title with 14 total fights (amateur and professional combined) using very fundamental, basic techniques on top of being a savage. You can train your ass off and have power for days, but if you are off balance, that power will never transfer to your attacks. If you can't control distance, you will jam your strikes or be susceptible to counter shots. Awesome series from a world class fight...

In this video the way you explained stepping over the line for some reason made me realize something little I had been doing subconsciously for over 15 years...now that I am aware of it my balance, footwork and counter attacks while moving backwards feel much more fluid and natural. Much appreciated, thanks for the videos!

Hey Joe, does anyone use the low kick to transition to southpaw to throw a straight left down the middle instead of returning to the initial stance? It seems like some really interesting combos could come of this.

As far as footwork goes, are we ALWAYS pushing off of the rear foot when stepping forward? Or simply just stepping forward with the leading foot and letting the rear foot follow? Been wondering this for a while now
