Absolutely. It is one of the more common football tapings we do.

This taping is meant specifically for sports. This is one of the more common tapings we perform on our football players, especially the lineman. Extending the taping into the hand dramatically increases the support given to the wrist versus the wrist taping that stays locally over the wrist joint.

Not a good application for any athletic tape job as these tapings provide some degree of tissue compression. That is the last thing you want to do with a fracture. It would be much better to be in a splint of some kind. You can find one at most local drug stores.
