I thank god for sending this lady to my life. I used to laugh at people listening to her but here I am, listening to her at midnight after not so good day, I might have had mental breakdown by now before. But slowly and steadily listening to her words daily are making me stronger. There may be a long way but I am getting better and stronger. On my toughest days when i felt like running away from this world i just listened to her. I am learning to detach myself from people , I am learning how not to get hurt, I am learning how to survive. Incredible wisdom....I've learnt finally where I've been going wrong, feeling disappointed by other people not reciprocating my friendship or hospitality to the same degree or not reflecting the same values... I've never thought to examine orconsider whether the other person has the same capacity or ideas as I do, around friendship, values, principles etc & that we ought not to expect them to. It was the case, many decades ago, perhaps even as long as 3 generations ago, that we could expect people to treat us as we would treat them, but no more. Even members of the same family, don't do that, but part of the reason is that we are not taught to be more considerate, more kind towards each other & at least more aware of their character & life situation.

Sister Sivani ! I come to listen to her when I have lost my power and self control... again. I hear her saying what to do , ignoring what "they have done". It's really difficult. I keep hearing her say, what they do is their karma and how you react is yours. I don't know how to deal with the atrocities being committed against my parents and myself for trying to protect them from the money grabbing siblings. I can't protect them and my Peace! I just keep thinking there is no way these actors didn't sign up for this insane drama. But sister Sivani always says it's about my reactions and that's all I can focus on.
