You do a great job communicating XC MTB race experience. What its like both physically and mentally up to, during, and post race. So much is going in your head, ....obstacles to deal with, climbs to endure, personal attitudes that wain, things that go wrong, racers that are inspiring, racers that are best ignored, and the drive to our best in competition. I'm getting past my xc race days...in my mid 60's now, and now mostly train on the MTB and have now mostly switched to road racing. Someday, when you are ready to change things up, I would love to hear/see your commentary on a road race....because you soak it up, and tell a great story. Ride on!

14:46 - Easily the longest wood feature I have ever seen. Great race, Brian! I'm finding myself looking more and more forward to watching your progress. Ever since your last podcast, I've been anxious to learn about this supposed "drama" that happens on this race. I haven't watched anyone else's videos because I don't want spoilers. So I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next! Stay upright and keep the rubber side down. -Brian

Nothing quite like a race within a race. You, Paul and the S&M Show give us maturing racers inspiration with your love of the sport. 24 miles is a good pull for any rider let alone 7 days of it on technical trails that don't let you relax much. Well done sir!! BTW since you brought up the Vietnam era draft dodgers to Victoria Island, they apparently didn't have friendly medical connections like our own draft dodging "Corporal Bone Spurs"!!
