This is only the middle part of a movie. I don't like the teacher, forcing her views onto the fathers. Their family is fine, she has Aunts for a female perspective. It's the teacher's job to help kids understand different family types. Also, the reasoning that a child wants to have a pet because they don't have a mother is stupid, most children, even those with a mother and father, want to have a pet.
