I guess there aren't so many Blüthner patent actions in Australia. They're beautiful actions to play on, and although they're lighter, the touch is a little firmer so to play it well one needs to use a focused finger action like on a harpsichord. I have a Blüthner patent from 1912 that was rebuilt 6 years ago by Blüthners and I love it, as well as another Blüthner patent that I decided to have a whole new keyboard and action installed, of the conventional type. The patent is my workhorse because if I can play it on the patent I can play it on the standard action. Thanks for this video, I found it interesting.
