Amara i enjoy because of how fluid, non peaky the gameplay is. And how she has the most consistently active handling, accuracy and reload speed boosts. It means guns just feel "nice" to use on her. Glad you like the build!

I really like using a rowans call and a pearl to shred mobbing. Pick up the biggest enemy and stack them crits and things melt. The ttb and the ricochetes clear areas fast af

Went into a zane a couple days ago and I miss my amara but unfortunately I have everything god rolled on her so literally everything dies extremely quickly and nothing provides me with a challenge playing her so she’s gotten boring. She’s still my favorite vault hunter by far and if they released new content I’d totally pick her back up

This build with revolter, pearl and a decent phasezerker makes so many guns so good, that I am always walking with my backpack full, never able to pick up anything. It's like an addiction, constantly swapping guns to prevent boredom, currently carrying a bunch of these in all possible elements: pistols(lightshow, free radical, tizzy), SMG(plasma coil, flipper, kaoson, redistributor, needle, crit), AR(monarch, soulrender, rowan, lucian, OPQ, nopewpew, boom sickle), shotgun(butcher and hellwalker), backburner, sniper(krakatoa, sandhawk, prompt critical), ... I could go on forever. "Consecutive hits" and ties that bind for mobbing, "250% phasecast" for bossing(for example: tizzy x3, nopewpew, backburner) and "killing an enemy grants ..." for things like hellwalker and boom sickle. I wanted to write this because for a while, in the past, I was contemplating the idea of giving up on Amara, due to frustration, lack of damage against bosses, boredom with melee, ... then I discovered Lazy's gun build and all was good, thanks again.

Sorry,for the late comment being that this video is a year old. I’ve been playing BL3 since release date and stop playing in October of 2021. I was using a moxsy build which had all the god-roll specs. Fast forward to 2022 all my loot is useless now. Is there anyway I can use this build because I’m on PlayStation 5? Amara and Zane is the only characters I main.

This build doesn't require any season pass 2 stuff. Old god to replace the shield. And the best guns will be Lightshow, nopewpew, monarch, crit etc.

@@LazyData Thanks man! I've also been trying out a melee build. Fish slap+psycho stabber+muse com=pretty insane damage. Do you have any other tips for melee amara, if you have ever used a melee build?

@@metallicnole4514 So there's "melee" and melee builds. True melee, ie punching, is tough to do, gearbox gave it no support. For "melee" like using melee damage items like fishslap. its almost impossible to mess up. I find them very boring. There's no reason to optimise it because even with no investment its dumb strong.

It would be nice to have a fully optimized build with omega level gear but that takes hours upon hours of farming and rng hasn't really been on my side. Especially with class mods and artifacts with the perfect modifiers. Even rerolling anointments hasn't been so kind.

Simply casting an AS doesn't does anything for your damage. It depends what boosts you have. eg "On actionskill end" annoints need the AS to end. Phasecast ends pretty immediatly, whereas ties has a duration, so it's likely you're seeing that.

@@LazyData some talents of amara use up stacks of rush to boost damage, my guns go from 200k a shot to 1m when i cast phasecasr, when i cast the rest skills of othe trees they stay at 200k , im not using anointments

@@savvamon None of amaras skills convert rush into weapon damage. Only dot chance, reload speed and action skill damage. Theres the phasezerker com ofc which is 75% gun damage, which works with both action skills

@@TheNaqoyqatZ It will not add or take away any damage. However there is no other perk in red tree that will add to your damage either. Infusion is still the play so once you stop farming graveward you can start using the advantage of infusion again.

Tandava and reverb is good for mid tier mobbing, like cartel runs etc. Grab a GA to swap too witht he right anoint and you'll be laughing all the way into CoV and takedowns.

You've misinterpreted Allure ( this video is a year old so maybe you've realized this on your own) it doesn't make your phasegrasp have a forced duration, that's how long the singularity lasts. The singularity pulls barrels in as well, so definitely be careful with it in close quarters haha

It's hit or miss. More Do harm will allow remnant to chunk bosses better. It's not super consistent but very handy when it happens.

Yeah Probably the best Amara can get... she's still terrible against one enemy... right now I'm using about the same thing, but with Arms Deal maxxed out becuase I'm abusing Complexbug interaction... hope they fix it, and buff Amara against single enemies... and Nerf Ties and Remanent... I don't see any fun on those skill since you can use whatever, they clear everything because is all Mayhem Action Skill Damage scaling... doesn't matter if it's a Plasma Coil or a random white Dahl Pistol... or a Malak's Bane even...

No DLC you go for Vigor in green. Pull some points out off alacrity and do harm, and the awakening point too ofc.

I used his build(or its previous versions) for a long time before owning the DLCs with those 5 points in Arms Deal with fantastic results. I mean, the Arms Deal and Heavy Rain are pretty similar, at least in terms of splash damage bonus.

Theres a ledge of visible/invisible eridium piles in ascention bluff by the door to hemo, take the save point below it and climb up, and just reset mayhem instead of save/quit to save load time, you get 150 each time and can do it in about a minute and a half.

So I have a question unrelated to the vid. So is the radiation explosion broken or something? Like if I'm fighting say the mini boss in the guardian takedown my guns will tickle him. But as soon as a minion dies near him and explodes with rad instant phase end

It's likely that's hollow points guardian rank perk that's doing that. Rad explosions are strong but usually not that strong. Hollow point explosions on the other hand are ludicrously dumb and do really really silly amount of damage.

For the crit specifically those are optimal yeah. But the important thing with it is +3 transcend. After that passives are whatever helps.
