ok i think i found out why my fixative damage was off, the grenade formula is scaled by the sticky bonus and then added to one

Glad to know that I wouldn't be having an easier time if I was trying to understand BL3 double dips rather than BL2 double dips. Also lowkey love your editing style. "where number ??" speaks to my soul.

What known instances of double dipping are there even in BL2 & TPS? Sponsored By's Torgue Bonus, Electrical Burn, & Immolate are the only real three that come to mind.

@@GeneralSouthParkFanwhen i was looking at the code, and tbf i did not test this in game at all, Integrity for Timothy in TPS also had something based on damage dealt rather than a flat number. So if someone would like to use this info for a video, I would be glad to see the results.

@@GeneralSouthParkFan Custom Loads is another one. Also the Maliwan bonus on Sponsored By should be the same as Torgue IIRC. But I guess I was also thinking about skills that worked in a similar fashion mechanically even though they don't double dip, like Coincidental Combustion, Wintertide, Hot Lead, Long-Range Killer, Integrity, Short Fused and Cold War. Each with its own quirks and what not, pretty annoying.

@@invaderguy78 I believe Integrity doesn't scale with damage dealt, at least last time I tested it that's what I wrote down (which was admittedly a while ago). Maybe what you saw was a check on whether or not the player with the skill had previously damaged the enemy? Since it grants you more damage if that isn't the case. Anyway, Aurelia's Custom Loads should scale with damage dealt.

@@DemoniteBL Someone on Shadowevil's discord server did some investigating a while back & found out that it was only the Torgue Bonus of Sponsored By that double dips, not the Maliwan Bonus. I can't link to it easily due to how YT comments these days react to links, but I put a screencap of the convo on the BL Wiki as a source. So there's that.
