This dude showed up to an LFN video after Monte and Thorin roasted him. I respect it.
@cremlindor6607Ай бұрын
I doubt he would show up to Sack Down if it was Dom and Thorin instead of Dom and Yamato
@astar2394Ай бұрын
Monte and Thorin usually roast him much more when they are comparing him to the likes of Inspired and other western junglers. I thought their C9 discussion on this weeks Summoning Insight was actually quite well-measured and nuanced and they gave Blaber many props for having great mechanics and being good in the early game. They didn't really roast any of the players but more were regretful of what this year's C9 team could have been.
@JustAnAveragePenguinАй бұрын
Agreed but want to point out that they were pretty reserved roasting him. Both were saying he was still good but just not a good fit for these 4 players. I don't think being worse than inspired is too much of an insult anyway
@saintsataniko2116Ай бұрын
Monte thinks he's a Korean Dandy and Boorin Thoorin is a ginger twat living in a frigid basement endlessly wacking it to LoTR and the NBA while endlessly hating on all things NA (that he is addicted to btw).

Big respect to Blaber for keeping his commitments and being willing to face people who have been critical of him.
@sanuksananАй бұрын
Just shows how respected Dom and Yamato are in the scene, to get people to show up and be comfortable talking about anything, even C9's elimination just 5 days prior. Also is it just the environment? Nearly every guest so far talks about how LCK and LPL aren't untouchable when it comes to internationals, it just takes a while for western teams to adapt/evolve to their level, with scrims and all, because based on their statements, the 'gap' in regards to mechanics and macro isn't that large.
@LargeMcBottomsАй бұрын
So much is mental. A big thing lck did for the longest time was gaining advantages in incredible minute ways. This would lead teams to feel desperate for something to happen to claw back to an even game and force sub optimal plays.
@TheSquirrelbeastАй бұрын
There is a big gap in macro (TL being the exception) and teamfighting. The west have decent laners, but there's a lot more game than that
@David-tr6xeАй бұрын
Idk. The gap seems pretty insane if you consider results? Plus the comparison also lacks since there are only 3-4 teams from each region. Could well be that there wouldn’t be more then 4-5 teams in the top 30 globally from Eu;Na combined.
@agreen182Ай бұрын
No serious person can believe the difference is macro and mechanics “isn’t that large”. NA pro players are in denial about it because no competitive person wants to admit that another region is just simply better than they are.
@landonhendrickson3000Ай бұрын
Depends on who we are talking about if we send out top 3 teams of each region (lcs/lec) into LCK or LPL and let them scrim and play in their regular season I’m certain they would be middle of the pack. The problem is that LCK/LPL top 3 seeds are just higher that our top 3

But as a c9 fan I was a little disappointed about when dom and Yamato were talking about c9 being passive, blaber talked about them being overagresive, watching the games it felt like they were the do nothing and lose team. Not the run it down team. The run downs were more so after losing their advantages.

idk man it always sounds like excuses whenever c9 players face questions about shortfalls this year. How come no one on this team can call macro past the midgame? Why will no one call out their teammates for drafting selfishly? Who needs to be replaced so this team can finally improve? If no one is to blame, everyone is.

I have been watching jojo since EG. I don't know why everyone says he's so good. Even back when LB and Akali were meta jojo carried 2 games the whole season. This season Jojo's champ pool isn't meta and inting his face off. I think the team personality is what really killing C9 this season. Like Blabber was saying about Sven. You do these dumb full send plays Sven would flame and bully you for it. Every team needs an enforcer to keep the players in line. Listening to their coms is rough. Too many different shot callers with 2 players that want to full send at all times. Flyquest has Inspired in the enforcer role. TL has impact. Inspired and Impact on EG is what broke Danny. You need at least one of these guys on your team to keep the intrusive thoughts from winning. I can bet you money they let Sven go because of the flaming your plays but he was what is really holding your team together.
@mwbwyattАй бұрын
I think sven got let go mostly cuz he wanted to play ad carry and there's no way they'd let zerk go yet. Sven may be a bit hard on inting but he's also got that goofy positive personality that can keep morale up too. He did the same thing on OG as niels and on TSM (at least until the akaadian drama lol)
