I'm a African American man, my heart is filled with joy and love watching this video. Thanks for treating my American sister with kindness and love. One day, we'll all be free & come together as brothers and sisters like we once were before we were sold and shipped to America 🇺🇸 much love to all of my brothers and sisters in Ghana and the whole West Africa where my ancestors were captured and kidnapped from. God bless!

As a Ghanaian, I could hardly count how many people I had to give money on the streets. I asked a taxi driver how much some of these hawkers made in a day, I was told about 20 Ghc - that is about $2 dollars, may be less. These people are not lazy. They work so hard, but I believe it is the responsibility of the government to offer retraining in other productive areas. I felt so sad to see some of my people struggle while some drove their Land Cruisers and ignored them. I remember giving a crippled kid $50 Ghc. His face brightened as soon he realized it was 50 Ghc I handed him. All he could say was God Bless you. I felt so comforted that I had alleviated a bit of pain that day. There were so many of them, sadly. I blame the neo-liberal economic model that leaves so many at the bottom.

But there's massive capital flight from our central bank to impregnate the banks in America, Europe & now the Arab banks also ! We elect people to serve & alleviate the suffering of their people & they turn into thieves & rogues. @@Justafox305 She told the truth. It is just heart breaking my dear, the blacks in jail, poor and poorly treated, living on the streets, police beating them, some being killed and handled like not humans. You can watch some on youtube.

I almost shed tears watching this... This is what true religion is all about. Hawkers on the streets of Africa is a show of African resilience, hard work and tenacity to survive. It show the never say die of the African spirit. In another sense it portrays the failure of African leaders.

Your sons are chilled and seem to be with the program too 😂!! This is what it’s all about in a nutshell! Great sharing and special thanks to the two young sisters! Made my day. Thanks 👌🏿👍🏿👏🏿✌🏿

I remember back from the late 90s into 2000s, a young boy of 10yrs having to hawk 3 rounds of such loads of drinks as this woman's every day after school into the late evenings....🥲. It surely built resilience and an entrepreneurial spirit within us....💪🏾. Today, I give thanks to God 🙏🏾 It was no easy feat growing up, but we made it 🙌🏾 and its gets fantastic 👌🏾

Makes me wonder if this is why america restricts the blk ppl specifically from selling in this manner in the southern united states. We have to pay hefty fees and have permits in the south but I notice immigrants and Hispanics in the west and north are free to sell as they wish! If afro americans could do this it would produce so much wealth outside of the system that the gov couldnt track!
