I've been to Senegal and the brothers and sisters are beautiful..you must know the government is under neo Colonialization of the French (French power in a black face )so there is a lack of properly sponsored roads and institutions. ..but the youth are going to change the situation like the brothers and sisters of Mali....

@@sellomabina3939 That cant be a question of west Africa alone but all nation that still need to improve basic infrastructure for the needy including our own. its just happen that countries like Senegal are still way behind but is not a coincidence, is by global design which is designed by the descendants of those whom their fore fathers have built war machines that will go to conquer the world. Fast forward in the future, their descendants have set up a global economy that will be every selective and biased when it comes to global trade and value systems. We cant celebrate the success of the so called first world nations without thinking of the neglect of Africa, however, is up to us to fight for what is ours and build the land of our ancestors. With new emerging powers in the EAST which is Russia, China and India, they are creating a parallel system that will forever challenge the west, compete and also destruct the west. my believe is, Africa has a second chance because our long standing enemy is been distracted. This new system in the making might shield difference results and approach but that is a big gamble we must be willing to take. Its not that African leaders are corrupt, is much more of working within a compromised system

@@sydceddo8091 The one who is weak and still growing lives humble and eat as much as you can until you grow strong and face your enemy. At some point, china was a beggar, a weak and soft enemy to the west, The Chinese went silence, invested within, sacrificed their own for cheap labor of the masters in the west, the masters who see themselves as the leaders of the world, the once who think their children shouldn't be working but should control all the global production, that is capital system. they miscalculated china and forgot that, while the Chinese where been used as cheap labor for global production of fake goods, the Chinese were acquiring skills, Today china is the largest manufacture and one of the fastest technological growing nation with more than 700million educated people. @@lozi4163 the Collective West will be the biggest loser in the new global archicture being contrived in the East precisely because they are resource poor and are being surpassed by the East in technological advancements. Where does that leave Africa? Africa is rich in resources but fares very badly in scientific fields such as information technology, medicine 💊, 5G infrastructure, ICT innovations and manufacturing capabilities. Africa will be the epicenter of the new cold war because of its array of useful resources. The lack of political unity and well constructed economic coordination among African states will inevitably make Africa to be vulnerable to machinations of both East and West. Africa needs to promote intra- regional trade as a stepping stone to continent wide trade. For this to be realized Africa must invest heavily in requisite infrastructure in the form of rail, road, maritime and aviation. Africa also needs to invest heavily on meaningful education and health sector to ensure the wellbeing of its population especially the working people. However, there are still annoying polemical debates as to which comes first, the region or the continent. Others even take these debates further arguing instead for the development of strong individual countries as a prerequisite for strong regional integrated trade. Be that as it may, countries like SA, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia and Kenya need to put aside their narrow political differences and parochial interests to spear head the economic trajectory of the continent. There is absolutely no space for reactionary jingoism. Otherwise we will also be irrelevant as a continent in this century. The Collective West is finished as a global hegemon, that is the good news for this century.

SENEGAL IS NOT DEVELOPED BECAUSE YOU SENGALESE PEOPLE ARE LAZY. Since 1994, the government has built over two and a half million houses for the poor, providing shelter for over 10 million South Africans. In 1994, only 62% of households had access to clean drinking water, today 93% do. In 1994, only 50% of households had access to decent sanitation, today 77% do. In 1994, only 36% of South Africans had access to electricity - today 84% do. Today the majority of South African people are provided free basic services in water and electricity. Since 1994, the government programmes have opened doors of learning. Over 8 million South African children at primary and secondary schools have benefited from school feeding schemes. The government has opened and offered opportunities to the children of the poor. Student loans in tertiary intuitions are now being converted into bursaries for qualifying final-year students. And students in FET colleges who qualify for financial aid are now exempted from paying fees. There have been big increases in spending on education. No public school can refuse admission on the grounds that a parent cannot pay the fees and 40 per cent of schools do not charge fees. The number of overcrowded schools has fallen from 51 per cent to 24 per cent in the last ten years. Schools are no longer allowed to discriminate on who can attend. The curriculum has been changed, so that the old ideas based on a view of white supremacy and denying the contribution of black people have been substituted by a more objective and just curriculum. Schools without access to safe water reduced from 8,823 to 3,152 in ten years. To date, the government has invested over R800 billion in infrastructure programmes that will change people’ s lives and this country’ s socio-economic landscape. These programmes include building roads, dams, bridges, schools, hospitals and two universities in Northern Cape and Mpumalanga. In the 18 years of democracy, we have experienced sustained economic growth for more than 15 years. South Africa is now Africa’ s largest, most advanced economy with abundant natural resources. Moreover, we have a well-developed financial, legal, energy and transportation sectors.
