Thanks, just bought a unit. My old B+D with cord went kaput, so I went to my regular power tool store. I have so much confidence on B+D, that I bought what they have in stock. Your video is great, now I know how to use it. Especially the new features. The last B+D lasted almost 20 years, can you believe it. Cordless is better, no need to tug a lot of cable. 😂❤

0mg I've had B+B trimmers for many years. The best for my needs. they severed their time., AND DID THE JOB. I purchased the LSTE 525. Your video awesome on the use and instructions. Ill let you how I make out. I hope for the best performance.

Best description of the LSTE525 and what each feature does. Thank You. Very confusing and no details of the item from B&D. You could show B&D how to market their tool features with so many different models and options. Does this version feed the line reliably? With thousands of complaints about the line feed on the older trimmer- this might be a $100 fix?

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

I have the 522. Whete is the string feed? New for 2023. No more button to push for line feed. I assume it's automatic now?

I have the older model with one speed. It’s okay, it’s good for small yards and medium level weeds. I don’t recommend it if you have a lot of edging or fence with a lot of weeds.

For some reason, the stupid AFS system on my LST400 trimmer is useless. It doesn't release out any line regardless if I run it on low or high speed. The clutch locks and turn inside fine, so I have to take the cap off, turn the spool one notch counter-clockwise, then turn it back clockwise to release an inch of line every time. From the description it sounds like it functions by the stopping or starting inertia, but totally not working for me. I wished it had a line release button or bump head.. What is wrong with mines?

I do, I am trying to buy the new cap cover and string spools to see if can fix. When the trimmer was new, it was great. now it is pain, the string spool feeds too much.
