I've done it. I finally watched the entirety of Hidamari Sketch. I first knew about it 'cuz of this remix, and after popping in my head again last month I decided to watch all of Hidamari, even tho the episode count was a surprise at first, but that only means there's a ton of Hidamari to enjoy. Fun fact: Hidamari Sketch was animated by Studio Shaft, and this was their first anime to adopt the studio's classic style you see in all their other works. The author of the manga the anime adapted went on to be the character designer for Madoka Magica, and the manga for Hidamari Sketch is still ongoing.

The gangs there identify by wearing a specific colour (known as your 'Sketch'), so the colour of clothing you wear, far from being a mere fashion statement, can actually get you killed in some neighbourhoods.
