That same contrast isn't present when mashed with Baka Mitai because while it is a ballad, it's still quintessential J-pop. Which makes the songs go together easier for sure, but it lacks the same textural contrast between the vocals and instrumentals that really sets this one apart. Good recommendation though; I can tell our tastes in memes and mashups are similar :)

This popped up on my recommended a month ago. I listened to it, liked it, then listened to other Snow Halation mashups. Eventually, I listened to original song. Then I listened to other μ's songs and I knew I was already deep down a rabbit hole I didn't wanna climb out of. I got curious enough to watch the anime. Cried like a bitch the entire time. Watched the OVA, then season 2. Cried even harder there. Then I watched the movie. And now, because of this god damn video, I just discovered my favorite anime of all time.
