I think thaf's because Sagisu Shiro used to compose songs for choirs. Many of his songs, especially in EVA have religious themes.

@@crabbyfez5143 The composer is Japanese, and in Japanese they call him Gojira. The name Godzilla was entirely made up by Americans bc when release the original movie in the U.S., they wanted a flashy name and didn't think that Gojira would cut it.

I feel like all of these songs that play when the Japanese government is either bracing for Godzilla's arrival or for attack have lyrics very reminiscent of the mindset of the Imperial Japanese Army in WWII. Because that army would do nothing to surrender to the Americans and fight from their hearts.

Which makes the most sense to me. I mean think about when Godzilla was originally based after. First it was natural disasters like earthquakes. Then it was the WWI and WWII. Makes the most sense for it to come full circle.
