Maybe he has tapped into the idea that many people are looking for a messiah or someone with deeper insight. I see him as a scammer saying what he thinks these misguided souls want to hear. I've listened to this guy and see nothing special about him. Other than a limited musician trying to avoid real work. Name some original ideas from him. Something nobody else has said that he is just repeating. I'll wait....

My phone is broken, I cannot hear anything at all. But I was surfing through the Web and a random click through KZbin on accident landed me here. Something told me I had to hear what you were saying from the moment I saw your reflection (autocorrect tried to make it say "resurrection" instead, and I was tempted to leave it. It's an apt word for what you make people feel the second they hear your words, relieved someone like you still exists... resurrected.) I had a burning need to hear what you were singing, so I dropped everything and went to my computer (it's. .. sort of a computer. .. quite falling apart now, but I pieced it together with a little TV and odd things) and curled up in bed to watch and listen. To say that you move me, or hundreds of others, is a pitiful understatement, but words can be so, so very lacking. Unless they are coming through such a pure medium of art such as what you're sharing. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and deeper, for waking me up in a time I've been lost in the concrete jungle, with my light slowly dimming, totally alone. You set my light back on fire and remember to share that light, always, it's so easy to forget sometimes. You've no idea how terribly I needed that. But I think life leads you to water when your soul most needs a drink, and that's all the universe was doing, and I thank you for being the source.
@Entourage9mofo10 жыл бұрын
That was an amazing piece of soul writing :) Made me smile. Happiness and peace can be a chain effect, if we just slow down and open our eyes to the beauty around us. Life, is what we make it. All the best to you Heather.

That was beautiful, a piece of art in and of itself. I've loved and listened to this song for years, and reading your comment, such poetic prose full of true moments and stories, re-awoke me to the true sublimity of this. Thank you for sharing your lovely self and experience. I hope you have been submerging your soul in the water it needs, and I wish you joy.
@heathertaylor890410 жыл бұрын
Still listening to this every day, though everything else they do is amazing. .. this is better than coffee in the morning. This one. .. "little" piece of art. .. has galvanized my entire life. I'm headed back to stay with the rainbow family, and start all the little dreams in my head to flowing in motion, though it's thick and slow as molasses might now, I'm moving a little more freely every day. And this song is reminding me when I feel like it's pointless or maybe I shouldn't be worrying about such silly things as dreams. Amazing what dreams can do. .. your dream, his dream, everyone's dreams led me back to mine, and I can only hope it keeps going, and I wake others up, and they wake others up, forever into infinity.

Nahko seriously needs to make just an acoustic record! I love his message and feel in his more simple videos like this, but his records are kinda over produced imo (not saying they're bad tho)

Lsd makes his studio albums, the most brilliant things I have ever heard. Js I know I know, lsd make everything better, but if you haven't tried it with the dark as night album, your missing out!

I feel quite the same as well. I love what we can feel on this interpretation. It breathe simplicity and authenticity. I feel more calm and centered than while listening other interpretations (on albums), on which I feel a spreading intention of the message, rather than a meditative tool, healing.

Definitely the most talented human in denim dungarees I've ever seen and heard. Great acoustics in the back of that pick up too. Here's to good things coming.
