He would have had to pass through a lot of neighborhoods to get to Central Park. I wonder why he wasn't caught before coming there. I walk there myself and see nothing but fat squirrels and ducks. Hope they did not have to harm the bear.

Conservation officers don't want to have to go to the time and effort to drive the bear out of town they're just like police officers they just want to go to the cafe and eat donuts and loaf around

Later he was killed by officials. Please don't call anyone when you see them. They will be put down and then they can't care for their young.

It's a bear... If it finds food...it will keep seeking food It will continue to push the limits until something pushes back That is their nature...to be curious until something hurts them Someone should have shot this bear in the ass with a paint-ball gun Or a marble from a sling shot When he/she first stepped on to pavement Once they learn that "people equal pain" We'll get along just fine
