Hi!! Ok, so I am a newbie but was totally feeling inspired by all the life you give! I took that inspiration and tried this tutorial...no bueno!! Not sure what I did wrong, but ANY help would be appreciated! The day after I dipped, the apples starting bubbling at the top (maybe apples were too juicy, stick was too big, I don't know what I'm doing..all of the above). Any idea why? And also, as others mentioned, those bad boys were BEYOND hard (even for a candy apple) and kept getting stuck in my teeth when I tested them. What did I do wrong?? The only thing I did right was clean them!! Gonna try again. like Donnie McClurkin said...we fall down, but we get up!! 🍬🍎🙏
@YourSweetConnection6 жыл бұрын
faresha belizaire thank you for watching my channel thank you for joining my channel appreciate your love and support I do have another video where I I talked about the different things to look out for when dipping candy apples number one candy apples are hard they're going to be hard and that's the purpose they're called candy apples now they can't be a little softer but if you're looking for your candy apple to last do you want to follow this recipe method and technique doing the other methods and techniques may cause your candy mixture to break down and that's just simply taking it off before the 300-degree mark. So I'm not sure what you're doing wrong and it's okay because practice makes perfect what you want to make sure is that your apples are totally clean and wipe properly before dipping your apples must sit for 48 hours before dipping even before dipping your apples make sure you wipe them completely before you dip them in that mixture if you want to dip in chocolate you just simply do the same cleaning method and melt your chocolate and dip the same way. The the bubble may be caused from the puncture when you put your Apple stick in once you put in your Apple stick and if your stick is crooked don't take it out and put it back in because you're going to risk getting a bubble at the top but if you haven't already done so check out my video on my channel and the name of that video is apple talk watch that video and I talked about very important factors when dipping candy apples enjoy

Hey Ms Ro, you mentioned in this video that the mixture turned brown after boiling. When I want to do white candy apples, my mixture also turns brown which makes my white apples beige and not pure white. What do you suggest?
@YourSweetConnection6 жыл бұрын
I have a video on that but I suggest that you remove your candy mixture at 280° and dip your apples then the temperature will still be rising just make sure you remove them at that time
