Well, many ambush attempts do "fail" to some extent. Sometimes simply because the "victim" just sits or stops, and the other cat loses patience.

The boys certainly got in a good amount of chasing on this outing. Fun! The ambush and tandem chase were pretty cool. Martin must have been thankful that Mads didn't let one 'slip out' while he was so close behind him during the chase!

I wonder why 'granny' doesn't care about Martin. I have never seen her talk, pet, or wait for Martin like she does Mads. I've seen him try to rub against her legs and she just walks away. When Mads does it she so sweet and petting him. So I hope the man who is filming gives Martin lots of extra attention and love. Cats know.

You're right that there is a difference. It has to do with Mads going for cuddles while Martin doesn't do that as much when he is out. Another thing is that during the walks we encourage Mads to move a bit faster, so there is probably a bit more communication with him than with Martin who is basically the tour guide. Having said that we have plenty of videos showing 'Granny' interacting with Martin. 😊
