Lauren Hill is a darker brown skin woman but her undertone is gold, most lighter skinned black people skin is gold.

Do you tend to have issues with matching foundation? For example, does foundation look either too orange, or too pink, or too yellow? Then you may be olive.

I’m black and of middle eastern descent. This video kinda opened my eyes to why people perceive me as Arab now that I veil fully and they can’t see my phenotype, just my skin tone. Thank you for sharing your opinion on olive skin, it just made it click for me.

Olive skin was a reference to black olives in historical times and actually referenced Black Egyptians, Ethiopians, Africans as the color of the black olive. It was a highjacked term by the southern Europeans

You don't know what olive skin is. Olive skin is some Italians. Lauren Hill is black like me. Rhianna is yellow and if she just came back from Barbados then she has a tan. But thank you for showcasing our beautiful black women and all the different shades we come in. Vanilla, cafe mocha, chocolate. Thanks Sister.

You’re welcome, but sone nationalities do not hold the monopoly of having olive skin. There are Black people with olive skin, as I am one.

Olive skin, type V pigmentation is common among peoples of the Middle East, North Africa, parts of Latin America, South Asia and Sub -Saharan Africa. Olive skin is not some Italians only. She did a great job ❤.

First of all..... every ONE of these women are exceptionally beautiful.......HOWEVER most women pictured are NOT olive complexed ..... For the record ,..... most bi-racial people (BLACK & WHITE) have a golden hue , not olive.; .even though olive skintone is beautiful.... I come from a family full of bi-racial individuals.
