Hey man. You don't have to go to church to meet with Jesus. He's with us always through the Holy Spirit 🤙 In fact the church is the body of Christ, which is what everyone in the church forms part of. He doesn't only want to meet with you in the church building 😄 it says in Joshua, "Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

My maternal grandma had a gazillion grands and w/the exception of few, we all worshiped at the “family” church every Sunday where she reigned as Queen of the usher board and every now and then she’d allow one of us grands to sit on that coveted back row with her and all those other sister’s in white and LAWD!, the whispering, eye-rolling, gossiping, signifying in between that went on between the escorting in late comers, seat assigning, bulletin disbursement, praising the Lord and Holy Ghost are some of the best memories of my childhood.

I remember my mom and I went to a black church, we didn't have food at the time and this lovely African American lady invited us to her church. They gave us food, blankets and even gave me the pastor's bible. My mom would be cutting it with the prayer warrior's stumping and running around the church with a flag. I really miss those days. Even though we were hitting hard God and his people were always protecting us.
